Poured from a 22oz bottle into a tulip.
A - Slightly hazy orange-gold with a short-lived, sticky head and a gentle stream of fine-bubbled carbonation.
S - Very delicate, with notes of caramel, orange oil, lemon, and a floral scent that must be jasmine.
T - Very light malt profile with a bit of caramel. Starts off very restrained, but opens up in the mid-palate with a stately herbaceous/floral grandeur. What I really enjoy about this beer is that it manages to offer a very fruity suggestion of sweetness while remaining quite dry. Hop bitterness is assertive, particularly given the weak malt character. I wish Avatar had a little more heft, but it's enjoyable as is.
M - Light body, adequate carbonation.
D - Jasmine definitely adds a nice touch, and this is a really drinkable beer, but I'm not sure it's something I'd crave on a regular basis. Worth a try, though, if you're in the mood for something different.

I had no idea what to expect with this one. Poured it into a glass and saw a lot stuff floating. Hmmm? Sediment? Bad bottle? Smell is fantastic. Tropical fruity and floral. Can taste hops but almost no bitterness. If I knew there were fruit in it, I would say guava and underripe mango. There is a little bitterness way at the end, but it is very mellow and pleasant. The floating stuff doesn't settle to the bottom so I'm thinking its supposed to be there. Can't feel the floating stuff but almost feels slightly sticky in the mouth. Think this would be awesome with spicy food, especially Indian, Mexican, or
