A: Poured from the bomber into a pint glass. Body is black, with a small tannish/grey head on top.
S: Roasted barley malt and pumpkin pie spices. Pleasant.
T: Chocolate malt up front, followed by a nice and roasty malt. Pumpkin spice (nutmeg & cinnamon) shows up towards the finish, but it finishes with a drying, almost porter-like roast bitterness.
M: Medium in heft, carbonation is modest.
O: Surprisingly good stuff. My expectations were low, but this one surprised me - it drinks more like a pumpkin porter than a stout, I think, but it's good. The spices don't overwhelm the beer here at all, but provide some nice additional flavor. Not sure if I could drink a lot of this (I split the bomber with a friend), but I could have easily drank the bomber and enjoyed it.

Pours a black color. 3/2 inch head of a tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of pumpkin, nutmeg, slight all spice, slight ginger, and sweet malt. Fits the style of a Pumpkin Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of pumpkin, nutmeg, ginger, sweet malt, roasted malt, and hint of hop. Overall, great appearance, good aroma, body, and blend.

22oz bottle poured into a goblet glass. It has a black as night body with no head to it. The smell is of chocolate, pumpkin and a hint of cinnamon. The taste has a roasty chocolaty taste up front then a little pumpkin and cinnamon come in near the finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and overall a really good version of a pumpkin and stout.
