Light clear amber with just the slightest hint of red to give it an orange tinge with a fluffy tan head with good retention. Sweet, light tea aroma, maybe some light citrus, very light all around. Balanced sweet malt and light tea and citrus bitterness with a hint of a toasty finish with a light bitter linger. Thin, slightly sticky feel.

I don't listen to the Men's Room but my wife does and wanted to try it. Anything to encourage my wife's sampling different beers I will do so I dutifully tried to hunt it down. I guess they're popular because in a few days since getting it in most places had sold out of it. My wife thought it was a little too bitter, odd because she likes some pale ales. To me is was a subtle flavored, easy to drink beer that the craft beer uninitiated will be able to drink and get a taste of what they're missing. It's a well crafted beer and I say cheers to the Men's Room for bringing craft beer to the masses.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a STONES Imperial "pint" glass (20oz). A nice amber color..beautiful 2 finger thick fluffy head, cloud like. Lacing sticks to glass as head slightly dissapates..and I do mean slightly. Light carbonation. A balanced malt and hops smell..maybe the malt more to the forefront. Taste of breadiness..toasty malts. Mouthfeel is kind of dry towards finish..not bad though. I havent had too many reds or ambers..but I can say this one is impressive. A nice quaffable, moderate ABV session brew. Thanks to my brother in law Mike "tennessee tuxedo" 4!

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle, which was poured into an Elysian pint glass. Always glad to try a new beer from Elysian.

The beer pours a hazy, dirty orange color with a white head. The aroma has quite a bit of toffee and biscuit malt, along with a little bit of sugary sweetness and some pine from the hops. The flavor is very similar. The toffee and biscuit malt really come through and add some sweetness. The hops are hidden deep in the background, but I think I can pick out some pine and orange notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

On tap poured into a sampling glass.

Pours a light amber/red with a seal and pretty yellow head, the nose is light and a bit sweet.

Taste is sharp and crisp with a pretty prominent hop bite. There's a really rich and full Mouthfeel with a nice light finish.

Pours with a copper body and a full thicket of khaki tan head forms well above the sides of my glass. Aromatics offer up a nice citric hop nose with some floral accents really nice hops going on in there. Excellent sharp citrus/floral/earthy bitterness makes it in each sip with a semi dry finish, malt presence isn't overtly sweet a bit of deep grain husk flavor complemented with hints of caramel and earthy bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a consistent sturdy carbonation level that drives each sip, finishes semi-dry. Overall the drinkability is key here goes down way too easy, balanced perfectly with a bit more hops than your average cookie cutter red ale found across this great country.

20oz pint at the Underground's mini-tap takeover for these (mostly) new Elysian brews in Alberta.

This beer appears a slightly hazy, glassy medium copper amber hue, with two slender fingers of puffy, bulbous, and eventually chunky, dirty white ice floe head, which leaves a near solid wall of specked snow rime lace around the glass as things seep southwards.

It smells of grainy, and mildly biscuity caramel malt, a touch of sour breadiness, middling fleshy orange and pithy white grapefruit, and earthy, leafy hops. The taste is semi-sweet bready pale and caramel malt, a bit of steady baker's yeast, simple syrup, subtle muddled citrus, and somewhat zingy leafy, grassy hops.

The bubbles are decently involved and in for the long haul, the body an adequate medium weight, and pretty smooth, with even a coy hint of creaminess. It finishes off-dry, the bready caramel malt, and fleshy anonymous fruit holding up that particular flag, while little else in the realm seems up to playing foil at this point.

A decently quaffable amber ale, which is sort of like saying an easy-driving Volkswagen - it may be a given, but it's still nice to see it in the flesh. Nothing overtly heady, or all that memorable, but pleasant enough for an early Friday evening kickoff.

22oz bomber poured into a pint,

A- Slightly tarnished amber red color, mild cloudiness. Pours a nice 1 finger head, but shows excellent lacing.

S- Floral hops evident along with a cracker like malt. Not a lot of sweetness you would expect. The hops help greatly.

T- Cracker malt dominates, perhaps too much so. Some hop bitterness to balance, but the sweetness is lacking, from what you would expect from a red/amber.

M- Good mouthfeel, a little sticky. Alcohol, though not strong pulls some of the cracker like dryness off your tongue, leaving an unusually clean feeling palate.

O- Gets a 5 here because of what this beer represents. First its totally drinkable, no major flaws, a little unique in fact. Second the fact that the guys on the Men's Room at 99.9 KISW rock in Seattle use this beer to raise money and promote the Fisher house, a service to military veterans gets it major points. Well done bitchola's.

On tap at Cole's, July 4th always open. Significant hoppiness, a nice red. Hoppy aroma. Light red tinge and some white head and lace. Some caramel sweetness, a good malt backbone. Toasted malt finish. Good drinkability, better than your average red.Simple and nice.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber into a pint glass.

Pours copper red with 1/4 inch puffy white foam. Some clinging but not a lot. Toasty malt nose - quite inviting. Taste is supremely toasty and even. Firm hop buried beneath that lasts beyond. Nice malty blend. The hop lingers a bit. Very good.
