Bottle into Pint Glass

Appearance- Hazy deep gold, 1 and a half finger white head

Aroma- Very fruity hops, pineapple, mango, citrus, peach, sweet honey like malt, no alcohol

Flavor- Honey, pine, grapefruit, apricot, light malt, slight alcohol. good bitterness, nice

Mouthfeel- Medium, moderate carbonation

Overall- Impressed with this. Better than i thought it would be. Very complex hop profile, and very drinkable, the best brew I've had from Elysian. Worth picking up, if you see it.

Love. Love. LOVE this beer.

I am so stoked that Elysian decided to make this a regular six-pack distributed beer because it will certainly become one of my regularly rotated IPA's.
If you're in the mood for a hop-bomb but not the same ol' same ol' then I recommend this beer. It has the basic citrus and flaurel feel of a West-coast, Northwest IPA. So crisp, so refreshing, seems so drinkable but it is a 7.20% abv so watch out for that.
I love Elysian. I love their style. and I really love this IPA.

22oz bottle, more weirdly anthropomorphic hop imagery depicted on the label.

This beer pours a rather hazy, medium golden amber colour, with three fingers of puffy, rocky, and certainly bubbly ecru head, which leaves some stellar bonsai tree spread lace around the glass as it slowly retreats.

It smells of sharp orange and red grapefruit citrus, leafy pine needles, further herbal flora notes, bready, doughy caramel malt, a bit of benign tropical fruitiness, and a soft earthy flintiness. The taste is more big orange cream and pine forest bitterness to kick things off, with some strong pastry-esque caramel/toffee malt sweetness, spiced lemon pie, other still muddled tropical fruit, and a suggestion of metallic warming alcohol.

The bubbles are pretty understated in their timid frothiness, the body a decently solid medium weight, and generally smooth, perhaps a wee hop acridity eventually wheedling its way in. It finishes well off-dry, the base malt starting to tire of all those upstart kids and their prodding hoppiness.

An enjoyable and balanced IPA, the fruit/pine/malt trifecta all playing nice enough together. Maybe a bit of alcohol begins to seep through as it warms, but that's to be expected - besides, no one can actually hear my complaints in space.

Pours slightly hazed deep orange-tinted golden with a lasting frothy white head that leaves lacing.

The smell is of citrus/tropical fruits (pineapple, tangerine, melon).

The taste is of citric/tropical - mango, melon, some orange/grapefruit. It has a sweet bready malt touch in the background and an herbal (with a dash of black peppery spicing) dry finish.

It has a creamy medium body. Smooth. Alcohol well-hidden.

A very enjoyable IPA. Nice use of hops while maintaining a balancing malt backbone for smoothness and enough balance. Very easy to drink.

Looks good, tastes better. Hoppy, little bit of citrus, piney and honey flavor show up big for me. Delicious overall, solid ipa not to mention generous abv.

Wow what a treat. A nice subtle nose but the taste is where this beer is at. A perfect blend of sweetness and hop bitterness. At 8.2% per the bottle label this is a finely tuned drinkable beast.

Pours a pleasing yellow-orange with lots of bubbly carbonation and a slight but present bone-white head. Smell is somewhat subtle, but brings to mind citrusy fruits and pine resin. The taste is quite sweet when it hits the tongue but quickly becomes hoppy and bitter. Definitely a good-tasting beer, but I found the mouthfeel disappointingly thin and almost watery (even with the six-pack I purchased was bottled on 6/26/15, about six weeks ago).

A good IPA, but not quite as good as I was expecting. This one reminds me of Long Trail's Limbo due to the thin mouthfeel but with less of a sweet, candied sugar flavor and more piney, bitter hops. Definitely drinkable and refreshing, but probably not something I'd seek out again.

Single 12-ounce bottle with some pretty neat artwork on the label. On to the beer:

Slightly hazy body with a dark brass color and creamy sturdy head. The smell of melons, honeydew, tangerine hit my nose with a little ride of spiciness towards the end. Space Dust takes on the personality of a fruit salad with its calm mild-mannered attitude. But make no mistake, there's plenty of flavor here. The taste takes a page out of the aroma, and as a bonis comes with a creamy mouthfeel and easy drinking nature. Factor its availability and Space Dust looks like a beer that I'll be heading toward again and again.

Poured out as a yellowish gold color with a white head on top that settles into a thin film with a sticky lacing all the way down the glass. The smell a first is pretty hoppy, as the beer opens up a little the grains show through a little more but still hoppy. The taste is nicely balanced between the bitter fruity hops and the sweet grassy grains. The mouthfeel is light and crisp, very refreshing and slightly sticky. Overall it's a pretty damn solid IPA. Could drink this one for a while.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a dark gold color. The head is a finger high and off-white in shade. Retention is decent, and the texture is nicely frothy, leaving behind webs of lacing on the glass. (3.75)

Smell: There's a lot of fruitiness coming through, however it should be said that there seems to be a greater focus on Amarillo over Citra. I'm getting nice notes of grapefruit, apricot, orange peel, grass, and pineapple. I really have to focus to find tropical fruit, though. But on the positive side, the maltiness just slightly accentuates the hop notes instead of running roughshod over them. (3.75)

Taste: The hoppiness is shown off quite well. At first, the piny flavors come through, only for fruitier notes (pineapple, apricot, melon, grapefruit) to also appear. Not only that, the malt backbone is nice - there, but not ridiculous. It is a bit sweet, but at least it's not crystal malt sweet. A more significant problem is that the hop flavor seems a bit soapy. Apart from that, this is solid. (3.25)

Mouthfeel: Fairly dry on the back end, but also full bodied. In many ways, it feels (and tastes, for that matter) much like a DIPA - it's crisp and somewhat easy to drink, but a bit syrupy as well. Carbonation is a bit low, maybe that's why. (3.5)

Overall: Aside from the soapy flavors, this is a VERY good IPA. It has a good mix of varying hop notes, like pine, herbs, grapefruit, and tropical fruit - all of which is ballasted by a nice (but not overdone) maltiness. All in all, a pretty good offering that could have been extremely good without the dishsoap notes. (3.5)

3.45/5: Likable, but would have been even more so without the slight soapiness

I am a recent Hoosier transplant to central Maryland (see username). Like any proud transplant, I compare all new things to the best in the midwest. When talking about beer that means all breweries get compared to Three Floyds, Bells, Founders, and Brugge and all beers to their beers. Unfortunately, it typically isn't worth the effort to compare IPAs and APAs to Three Floyd's Zombie Dust because it is simply too good. That said, Space Dust shares more in common with Zombie Dust than half of its name. Space Dust sported that familiar fresh, citrusy aroma and bitter hoppiness that I love in Zombie Dust. I'd say the biggest difference between the two beers is that Space Dust is actually available for purchase!! (Zombie Dust is simply too hard to find.)

Pours into a nonic a dull slight orange tinged golen with a full one finger white sticky head atop, alot of broken lace left behind.Citrus fruits with a slight floral note in the nose, light alcohol and caramel is there as well.Like the full citrus shot up front on the palate along with a touch of grass with some sugary sweetness and sweet biscuit dough underneath,it never gets overly sweet.I like the fact it's as big as it is without too much sweetness.I like the Elysian pumpkin stuff in the fall but they some pretty damn good IPA's to.

A pretty clear gold color. Pretty good-sized white head with a bit of lace.
Mostly pine aroma, a little citrus. Strong malt background.
Taste followed the nose. Pine, a little grapefruit. Caramel malt.
Subdued hops, malt-forward.
