Bottled unk
Well, this pours toasted gold with a solid quilt of toasted cream foam. Smells like black, green and pink peppercorns. Honestly, the pepper is so strong I can't smell much else -that's a negative. Peppercorn and grain with more peppercorns (really makes me think of meat), there is a clove character as well. Medium bodied with hi carb and an off dry finish. This beer is really one dimensional - maybe just dump this over a pork loin overnight before you give it a good bake - otherwise, this beer is although tasty, poorly constructed.

[Original rating 2013-06-17] Crazy pepper, way over the top. I tried it because I love saisons and some have a peppery note. This isn’t a note, it’s like being run over by the tour bus.

Odd is very appropriate for this brew. Especially the door, which is something between industrial solvent and that new car smell. Just a bit of heat on the tongue in the finish. No wonder this beer has been discontinued.
