I had a few of the Men's Room brew and a taste of The Immortal. I liked what I tasted and walked out with a six pack of Men's Room. It was a great atmosphere, a little older compared to me but still great nonetheless. The service was quick and the bartenders had some good suggestions and were friendly. However, the selection was somewhat limited. It is a brewery so I expect a variety of their own brews, but the menu included minimal other beers. In all, I plan on returning to one of the Elysian Places soon; it was an excellent outing.

I had never been to Elysian on Capitol Hill before, so I hoofed it up the hill after work yesterday and checked it out. I really like the atmosphere; it feels like an old pub in there, with various flags hanging from the ceiling and lots of old, beat-up wood. It feels sort of industrial inside, in a wood-hewn kind of way; it even smells woody inside. I've been to Elysian Fields down by the stadium several times, but I must say I prefer the hominess of this location more.

They had 17 beers on tap, quite a good collection. I had the I-5 Amarillo, their collaboration with Central City up in BC, and quite liked it. The service was prompt and friendly; you can't ask too much more of a pub. I feel like this is definitely a place I could patronize regularly.
