Had sort of a hippie feel to the place although the servers wouldn't necessarily fit that profile. I did a flight and the beers were good with a few special ones. The IPA seemed to be the best... the service was good but it was an early afternoon so it wasn't packed or anything. I would visit again if I was in the neighborhood but still need to explore other places first next time I get to Seattle which might influence that assessment at a later time.

I had never been to Elysian on Capitol Hill before, so I hoofed it up the hill after work yesterday and checked it out. I really like the atmosphere; it feels like an old pub in there, with various flags hanging from the ceiling and lots of old, beat-up wood. It feels sort of industrial inside, in a wood-hewn kind of way; it even smells woody inside. I've been to Elysian Fields down by the stadium several times, but I must say I prefer the hominess of this location more.

They had 17 beers on tap, quite a good collection. I had the I-5 Amarillo, their collaboration with Central City up in BC, and quite liked it. The service was prompt and friendly; you can't ask too much more of a pub. I feel like this is definitely a place I could patronize regularly.
