I've been to Elysians Cap Hill location several times over the years and recently made another visit. The atmosphere is decent, but semi-confused. There's a basic bar feel combined with a semi-industrial look. The quality of the beers is generally very good and they most always have something new and different on tap.

The food is decently done bar food and service is always at least good, sometimes great. Elysian, given it's location in hipster central of Seattle, only sometimes falls prey to the snobbish attitude usually found in those areas. The prices are a bit high, but you are in a major city, so the prices aren't out of line. Overall, this Elysian location is probably a must hit if you're visiting Seattle. Those of us that live in the area can enjoy it any time.

I had never been to Elysian on Capitol Hill before, so I hoofed it up the hill after work yesterday and checked it out. I really like the atmosphere; it feels like an old pub in there, with various flags hanging from the ceiling and lots of old, beat-up wood. It feels sort of industrial inside, in a wood-hewn kind of way; it even smells woody inside. I've been to Elysian Fields down by the stadium several times, but I must say I prefer the hominess of this location more.

They had 17 beers on tap, quite a good collection. I had the I-5 Amarillo, their collaboration with Central City up in BC, and quite liked it. The service was prompt and friendly; you can't ask too much more of a pub. I feel like this is definitely a place I could patronize regularly.
