Not too bad Not too bad at all...
Elysian, at least to this current Angeleno, seems to be pushing the border of good will that small breweries generate. Of course they have "multiple" locations, etc, but so what.
Big and tall yet still feeling low due to the dark swirly colors that abound. Tall damn bar, tallest I've encountered. If you're a standing patron, you might find yourself adjusting your posture to suit the bar height.
Service on this night was more than adequate, ignoring us when needing, cajoling when wanted and providing excellant beer service to two weary beer travellers not likely to be encountered anytime soon.
Good beer, loudish atmosphere with the bartenders deciding the music as whim fits (tonight: Cake and Toad the Wet Sprocket).
Definately a place to come hit as the beers range all over the map. There is bound to be at least one worthy tap of tasty product. (And hey it's closest brewpub to downtown that isnt' Pikes)

This is a cool bar to hang out in. The atmosphere is Capital Hill, Seattle. You will see all walks of life which keeps it interesting. The beer list always has their standard5 or so beers, plus they have a few hard to get choices...and then they have their experimental recipes on display.
Fun Pub with good beer.
