Decent looking slightly hazy golden beer. Scent has a hint ok lemon peel and a hint of spice maybe clove.

Taste is well balanced, if only a little subdued. Drinkability is high, very smooth and and easy drinking.

Most enjoyed after a great ski day at my baker in their Bellingham pub.

Cloudy orange amber with thin white head with good retention. Peppery aroma. Spicy hop and nice malty balance. Extra dry feel.

A good beer with great spicy flavor which would be better if the very dry character wasn’t so distracting. otherwise it's an enjoyable beer

Served in tulip. Poured a slightly hazy golden amber color with just a thin cap of off-white head that had low retention and moderate lacing.

The aromas were mostly solid grain and spicy yeast, with the grain upfront and the yeast wafting in the background. The flavors were very similar, pleasant grains over most of the tongue, with a tickle of spicy yeast on the finish.

The body was fairly typical for for the style, crisp and clean, not particularly sweet and was, perhaps, a bit fuller than average. Drinkability was pretty good, 3 glasses had slipped down my throat before I really realized it.

Overall, a fairly decent attempt the style. Worth trying if you see it. It's good to see BB get away from their comfort zone of big, hoppy brews and try something different. Last year they made a Tripel that was solid, and now with this effort BB has earned a big "Attaboy!".
