a: clear light copper body. two fingers of bright white head that slowly settles to a frothy cap. decent lacing.
s: grassy, grains and malt. maybe a little lemon.
t: grass and malts. a touch of citrus tries to shine before its beat down by the grass again.
m: light body, decent carbonation. not much bitterness.
o: meh, more like an apa than an ipa. too much grass and english malts shining thru for my taste in an ipa.

Poured into a tulip glass, a cloudy coppery brown colour, solid cap of white head, shows pretty respectable retention and lacing residue. Looks good. The bottle has a space for bottled on date, yet it is blank...
S - noticeable galaxy hops, passionfruit, cherries, caramel malts, biscuity, with a really tropical edge that almost feels artificial, citrusy grapefruit and pineapple. Has a fruity hopiness to it but it is dried and artificial feeling, like a cheap bad of dried tropical fruits rather than the real thing (good analogy).
T - has more of the same tropical fruit notes. Underripe mango, passionfruit, melded with a bit of a metallic character. English malts are in evidence with a mild caramel, breadiness, with the jelliness of the fruit. Smooth and grainy on the palate, caramel maltiness with a rounded nondescript tropical character before fading quietly into a weird messy ending, with harsh metalic character, graininess and dry carbonation.
M - moderate start, light/moderate carbonation, decent body and all round its not bad until the finish, which just comes across as really messy, metallic, harsh dryness. Meant to be a really sessionable IPA on the palate it comes across as flat and mellow then the finish really lets you down.
Not an IPA I would seek out again, hops are really flat and generally unappealing, beer itself is mild, overly tropical in an unappealing artificial way, and seemingly geared to offer a novelty to BMC drinkers, this is lacking in balance and depth, and though the Galaxy finish shows some promise the beer itself does a bad job supporting it and the flavour is ultimately unappealing. Not a bottle pour, and alright drinking, just not one I would say is one to seek out.
