This place is close to home, so I'll give it a rate. If you're looking for wine, this is a nice stop because the owner and employees are very gracious and will answer any questions you have. They have very good insight into the grape-based products.
But this isn't a wine web site. We're here to talk about beer, and this shoppe's selection is very very poor. True, they have Chimay, but it's $1 more per bottle than you can get right down the road at Giant Eagle. And Chimay is the only Belgian available. Otherwise, you better want Sierra Nevada or Budweiser.
Not worth the stop for beer. But don't miss it for wine!

We stopped by the Wine Shoppe on tha advice of Beerfly as I was looking for a nice quick place in this area to pick up some Ohio made offerings. A very nice area of Dublin this is and the location and parking were both easy to find. You walk in, your greeted by a nice help staff among the hunter green walls, flowers and of course, wine. A nice place, no dought, but...my review comes later than the others below.
The beer was limited to a small rack & a old, looked to me a flower cooler that housed more macro 12 pks.& Michelob sixers. No Ohio brews to be found. We looked for Columbus but he said they haven't bought any in a while. As he looked on the rack ( beer stacked sixer on top of sixer) the dust was so heavy you could hardly make out Abbot on the label or one six of Goose Islands IPA. Must be a wine thing, no dusting the bottles.
The stock must not move fast. He had alot of Sam Adams Double Bock left among some other "one season behind" offerings. He did have Sams summer Ale.
Again, nice place & people for wine. The beer, not impressed.

A very nice upscale shop in the northwest from Columbus. This is a very good stop for quality beer. There is quality throughout although the number of brews is limited and there are few singles available.
On my stop I noticed lots of Bell's, most of the GLBC line, Chimay, and lots of foreign choices. Plenty of help from the folks here and there is also plenty of parking in the lot.
Right down the line from Mary Kelley's, a great night spot and dinner place in Dublin. Stone is everywhere in keeping with the Dublin/Muirfield theme.

The Wine Shoppe is located in the upscale Muirfield area of Dublin in a small shopping plaza called Shoppes of Athenry, parking should not be a problem although you may have to park in front of another part of the plaza during busy times.
It is fairly obvious that the store favors wine heavily (if that is not obvious by the name) but they do have a few beer coolers that might make it worth a stop if you are in the area. You can find beers from GLBC, Columbus Brewing, Chimay, Stone, Flying Dog, Orkney and others on any given day.
The proprietor does his best to answer questions and he (and his dog) are very friendly and accommodating. While not the best selection, there is a good chance you will find something worth picking up. The Wine Shoppe is also located right next to the amazing Mary Kelley's, so you can stop by there for a bite to eat after a hard day of beer shopping.
