Pours a clear but dark ruby tinted amber with a huge light tan head off a very aggressive pour. Nose is apple, sugar, and a touch of caramel. Flavor is slightly bitter with a caramel edge. Nice hearty aftertaste stays with you. Feel is slick on the liquid and lower on the bubble. Overall fairly robust and deep, it is worth trying.

A : pale yellow, pretty good looking 2 fingers of head which stuck around for some time, thick coating, appears highly carbonated

S : pretty weak aroma, wheat , yellow mustard?, somewhat musty

T : i found this pretty mild but malty, somewhat soapy with a slight bitterness at the end

M : really high carbonation with a refreshing and wet finish

O : This is drinkable but nothing at all stood out, most importantly i found the smell and taste to be dull and not all that enjoyable.

Appearance: Well this brew is pale yellow and or hay or straw colored. Not a bad head on it at least two fingers thick which sticks around decently well. Upon thining out looselacing is left behind.

Aroma: Grassy notes to start with a little bit of dryness in the nose. Not much of scent from the malts if anything it's grainy. In the side of the hops well it's mostly floral if anything.

Taste: A decent amount of carbonation but it quickly smooths out. A little bit of dryness comes from the malts in a grainy manner adn from the hops in a floral way.

Notes: I do not have this style of beer very much but this one is not too bad a good hot weather beer. Cheers.

A - Yellow/gold in colour with lot's of carbonation and a two finger, pillowy white head. Bright.

S - Really mild, corn, grainy, noble hops. Subtle but not offensive.

T - Really clean, crisp, mild grain, noble hops and some bitterness in the finish.

M - Crips. Good carbonation.

D - Not bad. Nothing spectacular but a good lager.

Pours a clear gold color with a 2 finger foamy snow white head that lasted a while and left good lacing clinging to the glass.

Smells like a basic Euro lager, with malt, wheat, corn, light floral hops and some faint grains; pretty poor overall nose that's just kind of weak in every way.

Tastes of malt, grains, corn, light citrus hops, faint lemon and bread which resembles wet cardboard; the taste is pretty dull and blah.

Mouthfeel is crisp and light, with mellow but high carbonation and a light body.

Drinkability is on the low side even though this beer is very light; it's just so boring and the flavor is almost non-existent that there was very little pleasure while drinking this beer. Now I know why this bomber only costs $1.99.

This was a beer with a huge, rocky, foamy marshmallow-like two fingers' of head. Color was a light-golden yellow with NE quality clarity. Nose had a Saaz-like musty metallic/sweetness. Mouthfeel was somewhat thin. I love pilsners and this was sustaining in its attempt at dryness. Finish had a crispness accompanied by a lemony bitterness. Oooh. More please, sir.

This beer pours like many others... golden and clear, but I found mine to be just a tad cloudy. I found the head to be very short. It does lace a bit, though.

The smell is average, or a bit less than average. Nothing distinct.

At first, the taste is fine, but there's kick at the end that is slightly metallic or coppery. Right on the sides of the tongue. Didn't like that.

In the mouth, I found it way too carbonated. It's just too sharp & tingly.

As for drinkability, I'm not impressed. Nothing good about it is noteworthy or memorable.

Drinkability - This is another easy drinking Euro lager that can be considered as another standard patio refresher in the summer.

Appearance - clear straw yellow-gold with a head that recedes to a medium layer and some good lacing. Later the head disappears to a thin ring.

Smell - a very clean lager with some sweet malt balanced with mild hops.

Taste - another good but typical easy drinking Euro lager. Well balanced but not too sweet to start and not too dry or bitter in the clean finish. Low in malt and low-medium in hop levels. Nothing great, nothing bad.

Mouthfeel - smooth but slightly on the coarse side from the carbonation and the dryness. Carbonation is held well.

Thanks to witbier for the bottle...
Appears a transparent, light gold with a small white head that quickly fades out into a tiny collar. Tiny speckles of lacing are left around the glass but quickly slip back down.
Smell is of corn, wheat, pilsner malt, and mild fruit.
Taste is of fruit, citrus, and corn...not really sure what the heck is going on here.
Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied, tiny bit of a citrusy hop bite in the finish.

A: Poured a clear, lemon-orange with a thin, sudsy white capping that quickly recessed to a sparse macro-bubbly layering. Visible carbonation was extremely faint and almost non-detect.

S: The nose yielded faint citrus(oranges) with a touch of grains.

T: The flavor was sour lemons and oranges, was somewhat dry with a light sourness following things up. A faint smokiness, dry citrus and a light flowery hopping was also detected. There was some buttery malt notes in the finish, which left a light dry grassy lacing and fade.

M: very light, almost watery and was quick off the tongue.

D: Ok drinkability, wouldn't be my first choice. One you could finish but doesn't improve and basically a macro lawnmower beer that fails to impress.

Pours with a small white head. Very little lacing to speak off, no retention. Has a clear golden color.

Smells of pale malt, metallic and grain.

Tastes pretty much like it smells. I found this to be very bland and metallic. Just a bit more malt on the palate than the nose.

Pale golden lager with hoppy aroma, big white head and malty-fruity character. Dryish with superficial sweetness and gentle bitterness. Light but well-shaped body. Just a proper level of carbonation. Aftertaste on the bitter side. Not an American Macro but rather a crossbreed between Baltic Lager, Pils and Munchner Hell. Worth a try.

Pale gold with a quickly dissipating, fluffy white head. Sweet aroma with light, spicy hops and hay. Bland flavour up front. There's a bit of sweetness and then fruit towards the end. Vegetal character is fairly evident as well, especially in the finish. Light bodied, moderately high carbonation, slightly dry. Not something I'd come back to.

500ml bottle poured in a dimpled mug. Date on the back label reads 11.05.05 hmm.. guess I shoulda checked that.

The full half litre just fits nicely in my mug. The white head was 1/4 inch at the pour, but quickly disappeared to nothing. Straw yellow and clear with lots of carbonation streams.

Aroma is mild, but sweet with undertones of grain and corn.

Flavour is mild, and pretty average. Slightly sweet at the start, it quickly becomes dominated by grains then finishes a little bitter with a metallic twang. Aftertaste is mildly bitter and acidic.

Light-medium bodied with average carbonation for a lager. The metallic bite leaves a nice crisp mouthfeel.

This is a pretty average lager, but loses points for that metallic aspect that while leaving a nice crisp feeling in the mouth, is a bit of a turn off for me. Lack of any semblance of head retention also hurts. All in all this is alright and I'd drink another, but I'm not exactly going to rush out to get one.

Appearance is very very very pale, actually it looks like it was dillueted with water. A nice heard was formed but slowly dissapearing.

Smells quite average, mostly hoppist and citrus flavours.

taste mostly malt, very weird as I noticed no matl smells, mouthfeel is quite your average lager, macro lager in fact. Drinkable to the normal and couch potatoes drinkers.

I did not enjoyed

One of the 10 bland baltic lagers from the LCBO. This one is a pale straw, fizzy, with a fast vanishing smallish cap. Aroma is sweet and musty with very light spice smells. Fizzy vegital-grainy taste with more hop pronouncement than some of the other baltic lagers..fizzy, watery mouth feel, quick flash of malt...quick finish...wow so the commies can brew "bud"..yaaaa

Mild utility pale from LCBO. Bit of tongue numbing from hops but easy drink, sweet and smooth. Hint of fruitiness. Bit better than Canadian national brands and even a few microbrewers, and better than pilsner urquel. Summer thirst quencher. Session ale.

Russian-looking beers always scare the hell out of me. Maybe it was growing up while the Cold War was still raging. Anyhow, this one comes in a utilitarian looking 16.9 oz. brown bottle. It pours a nice looking yellow with a hint of gold and a big foamy head. Both the smell and taste exceeded my meager expectations. It has a strong malty flavor for a lager and is in some ways more in line with an ale than lager. If you want something different to try on your macro-guzzling friends, this might provide them a pleasant surprise.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a foamy one-fingered head that holds OK; dropping to a thin 1/4" head, and then to a decent collar and whispy surface covering. The nose delivers a welcoming combination of rich grainy malt and mild herbal hops. The body is medium with a fine and median carbonation that leaves it nicely crisp in the mouth. The flavor expresses the same combination of grainy malt and herbal hops that the nose alludes to, but with a firmly backing bitterness. Brisk. A clean and enjoyable lager with good drinkability.
