This might be one of the most oxy-moronic names for a beer style, but this offering was good, no matter how you name it. On to the beer:
Fuller's ESB is bright amber with orange hues. A sweet, gummy beer with a pleasant bitterness, raisins, and pine. There's also a little tropical fruit and chocolate in it. Maltiness is detectable, but all the other by-flavors overpower it. Very creamy and satin smoothness from The Olde Ship's taps. Good stuff.

This is a tasty brew that goes down easy. Has beautiful sunburst color that reminds me of a Gibson Les Paul. Hoppy aroma balanced by a soft caramel smell, soo good. Taste is of malty goodness along with grassy hops. Full of flavors for it's medium body. Low in carbonation but manages to keep a very thin head on top. Overall this brew rocks! I can see myself coming home from a long day of work and having one or two of these pint bottles in a nonic. Definately will be buying this again. Excellent!
