look: 4.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 3

A- pours a dark brown but almost clear enough to see through with the proper lighting. A medium bodied head forms but dwindles very fast. Great lacing left behind.

S- smells like fresh ground roasted coffee beans

T- at first it starts roastey, coffee, smokey, and the late finish is a bit of chocolate malt. roasted coffee lingers. This really is a unique taste for a porter compared to all the american porters I've tried. The lingering roastey coffee taste is a little much for me. I wouldn't want that taste hanging around all the time or building up over the span of a couple pints.

M/D- good. Not too heavy, not too light. Carbonation is lively enough. With the taste being a bit different than other american porters I've had, I must say I prefer the american style, with a little less roastiness and a little more sweetness.
