500ml bottle poured into a pint glass by freshness date.

A:
Dark opaque brown to almost black in color with a slight ruddy tinge, thick and firm foamy tan head with good retention, it fades into a small bubble layer covering also yields several lacing patches.

S:
Big malty in kind of charcoal, smoky, roasted like, big dark bitter chocolate as well along with coffee, creamy note and some mild fruity.

T:
Dark, chocolate malt and coffee kick up first following with some fruity note in the middle. The end is wrapped up by malt sweetness that liaises with bitterness from hop also from smoky trait and roasted coffee bean.

M:
The body is moderate likely bold, smooth mouthfeel with rather low carbonation but crisp enough to carry all the things well.

O:
Truly good with rich malt and chocolate characters, a quaffable quality is quite like an evil, couldn’t stop begging for more.

Served to me at Llewellyns in Webster, MO

Smell is sweet chocolate and toffee.

Black. Tan head, Creamy as if nitro tap (although it wasnt)

Taste, chocolate, toffee, coffee.

Had this both on tap and by the bottle. Taste are identical. Very good beer. Definitely makes my rotation.

Little to no head, dark brown, just shy of a stout

Sweet dark roasted smell, coco, coffee. Hint of hops, floral.

Nice bitter combo from the roast and the hops. Moka taste - same as smell. Fruity flavor emerges that I didn't get in the nose.

Medium body, surprisingly light,
Incredibly drinkable. Great porter, I always enjoy fuller products.

Pours a super dark black, with a one finger cocoa head on it. Decent lacing on the side of my snifter. The nose is molasses, toffee, coffee, and chocolate. Really well done. The taste follows suit, with a slight bitter aftertaste. Medium in feel, with a bitter coffee aftertaste on it. I'd like a little more malt. Overall, a good porter.... I'd have this again. Cheers.

Poured into a pint glass. Has a nice brown color with hints of red along the edges. Smells of a rich coffee with notes of molasses. Tastes of coffee with a hint of tobacco as it finishes. Has a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Enjoyable throughout and a nice way to introduce oneself to porters.
