Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours an amber brown color with a two finger just off white head. The head fades to leave a light level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a bready aroma. With this smell is a good lot of butterscotch and some lighter fruit aromas of apple cider.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp bready flavor. A lighter butterscotch sweeter flavor then comes to tongue. As the taste advances, some of the apple cider in the nose is detected on the tongue. This mixes well with the rest, and at the end, is joined some light herbal and earthy bitterness which leave a rather pleasant taste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the rather average side in terms of creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is the same.
Overall – A tasty and very drinkable brew with a good blend of malty, lightly sweet, and lightly bitter. Rather refreshing.

A: Pours a clear medium golden yellow in color with light amounts of active visible carbonation slowly rising from the bottom of the glass and some light apricot highlights. The beer has a quarter finger tall foamy off-white head that quickly reduces to a medium sized patch of mottled very thin film and a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light aromas of biscuit malts with hints of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront the beer is slightly sweet with a moderate flavor of biscuit malts and just a touch of caramel notes in the sweetness. Hints of butter and toffee with a light note of earthy hops which contribute a light amount of bitterness which fades pretty quickly.
M: Medium bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.
O: Easy to drink and sessionable. Nice complexity of flavor and definitely one to enjoy again.
