Sampled from cask at Cricketers Arms in Orlando, FL.
Served a dark bronze almost tawny color with a thin, wispy white head that clings to the glass. The lacing was wonderful and definant.
Loaded with subtle aromas and hints of scents. Wisps of bready dough, sweet caramel malt, cream, and hops. Very subtle, but very pleasant and enticing.
Tastes of bread, dough, and sweet malts. Hints of caramel and fruit that slide into bitter and floral hops. The cask also gives a earth, peat, and must flavor that is unique to casks but a wonderful additon. Truly wonderful balance of flavors. Medium bodied that goes down way to easy. Clean and crisp finish.
Another proper pint and another textbook beer with the bar set way up!

A - light amber/copper color. Poured with little head that quickly dissipated, with no lacing.
S - bready, slight Hop presence.
T - bread or biscuit flavor with mild hop presence.
M - smooth light carbonation, light on the palate as well
O - this is a great beer for the style, not my favorite but still decent
