11.2 oz bottle poured into a wine glass. Best Before 08/SEP/10 stamped on the bottom of the back label. So I guess I'm having this about a year too late!
Appearance - Clear amber body. Pours small one-finger off white pancakek batter head with low-decent retention and poor lacing.
Smell - Banana. Dark over-ripe fruit. Smells like a hefe mixed with a Belgian quad, but much more mild.
Taste - Extremely balanced. No off flavors. Relatively mild hop and malt.
Mouthfeel - Watery. The only texture is the slight creaminess from the head.
Overall Drinkability - Tastes like no other pale ale I've had. Very mild. Enjoyable. Unchallenging. Almost boring. I'm going to have to try a fresh bottle to see if the aging made it better or worse.
