Poured from a 500ml can, best before 30.04.15

A can doesn't do it justice; very creamy but lacks character. Glimpses of grainy bitterness and nuts.

Pours light amber, burnt orange/copper. Quite clear with just a little haze. Small off-white head that recedes quickly. Some lacing.

Caramelized orange in the aroma. Quite estery. Toasted malt and a hint of diacetyl though not to an offensive degree. Spicy slightly fruity hop character.

Caramel malts up front with a slight apple character. Spicy and firmly bitter hops. Biscuity malt follow. Seems slightly sweet even with the bitterness, but age may have played a part in subduing the hops.

Medium bodied with low carbonation. Mineral rich water character presents itself in the finish.

Well balanced, but just a bit sweet. Probably not the freshest, but such is the case with imports that likely sit on the shelf for a while.

11.2oz bottle into an imperial pint

A - Crystal clear light copper with a decent head that dissipates quickly but laces the glass nicely.

S - Grain and malt with light, citrusy hops.

T - Follows nose. Rich grain and malt. Light, refreshing citrusy hops. Slightly fruity at the end.

M - Light and clean with a light carbonation.

O - A nicely malty ale that is better drunk at a bit above cellar temps. Very well balanced. A great ale for spring through summer. The hoppiness of this ale can be enjoyed anytime.
