Poured from a 16.9oz bottle into a nonic.

This brew pours out a clear golden color with a finger of head that quickly drops. The aroma is very sweet, with a very realistic honey note dominating the proceedings, along with some lightly toasted malts. The taste is excellent, it's got the sweet honey tastes at first, but it fades to an absolutely sublime lightly toasted malt helped out by just a touch of honey. Delicious. The mouthfeel is quite quaffable. Overall, it's a great summer ale that I wish came in six packs.

Serving Size: 500ml Bottle

A: Its color is a fitting Honey Yellow with a pretty foamy head

S: Very sweet smelling reminiscent of mead.

T: Taste very sweet and refreshing then an excellently bitter hop taste.

M: a tiny bit below average carbonation with a light body.

O: I am hooked on this Ale. Highly recommend it to be tried at least once, preferably cold on a warmer day. Relatively pricey compared to U.S. Domestic Beers, but as the old saying goes, You get what you pay for. In this case it is an amazing Ale.

500 ml bottle. 5% ABV. Big bee on the label.

The color is golden a little bit on the dark side too. Thrones a nice looking foamy head of white color. Tenacious head on top. Sticks well to the glass.

The aroma is light in intensity (expected). Fruity notes with some honey in there too. Sweet and mellow in the nose. Taste has notes of honey with some malts and cereals. Good taste.

A good average beer that is very refreshing and easy to drink.

Golden ale with a foamy head that has lots of retention. The color reminds me of mead, or maybe I just think that because I know there's honey in it. Aromas of sweet cereal and fruits. Honey is present and isn't overpowering. The flavor reminds me a bit of mead as well. Tart, fruity candy with a touch of honey. Grains are present as well. It's crisp and refreshing on the palate. This is a really lovely ale.

500ml bottle poured into tulip 6/1/12

A slight haze in a golden yellow body, not much for bubbles but a long lasting soapy finger of foam leaves some random lace

S sweet floral honey with some candied corn, pretty simple but decent

T even sweeter then the smell but similar otherwise, I do like the honey flavors but again its pretty simple

M low carbonation and fairly full for the color, grainy aftertaste

O decent stuff but pretty simple at the end of the day, it would make a decent summer beer

pretty far from some of the better Fullers products I've tried but worth a try if you like honey

500ml bottle poured into a 20oz nonic.

A - Bubbly white head, and a clean golden-honey colored beer. Pretty simple. The head settles to a foamy cap that leaves minimal spotty lacing.

S - Floral hops, light caramel sweetness, and some light honey notes. Fairly take aroma, with a bit of light malt and clean grains as well.

T - Starts off really clean, almost like an adjunct lager, then opens up to lots of sweet fruits and honey, and finishes with a lingering hop presence with a slight bitterness. The whole profile just says clean and refreshing to me. No off flavors, but nothing really special from start to finish either. The honeydew is certainly distinct, but not very pronounced overall.

M - Fairly light body with average carbonation. Works well with the flavor profile.

D - Great beer for a warm day, and a good alternative to a boring lager. Not an exceptional beer overall, but a tasty one regardless. Nothing I'll go looking for again in the future though.

Served in Fuller's Honeydew half pint tulip
Enjoyed at The Pilot Inn

A: Sunny golden hue, but clear. Barely half (soft white) fingernail head.

S: Smells like a warm summer afternoon BBQ - sweet melon, crisp honey, and laughter around a picnic table.

T: Beautiful balance of sweetness with mild malt character and no noticeable hop profile.

M: Light body/carbonation.

O: Crisp, fun, and refreshing. I'd love to try this again on a nice summer day.
