From a rough pour little head is produced. The beer is crystal clear and copper in color.
The scent is a little weak but there's a body of roasted malts with a little touch of fruit sweetness to it.
Taste and Mouthfeel:
Up front there's is some light sweetness and some crisp carbonation. From there the beer develops more smoothly and the flavors slowly wash out to a bland sward of weak roasted malt flavor. There isn't much hopping to note. The finish is a tad sweet but there's little aftertaste to note.
It's about as drinkable as any lager really and only loses points for being a little lacking in the flavor department. With a slightly richer flavor this beer could have been dangerously poundable.
Not bad, not great. If you compare it to macro lagers or other Miller products even then it's a pretty damn fine beer to have under their belt but as far as Vienna lagers go it's a little bit unimpressive.
