pours a hazy straw colour, with a pillowy white head that takes it's time dissipating, and leaves decent lacing down the sides.
Putting the glass to my nose, the first thing that jumps out at me is, 'holy shit, is that ANICE?' Next up are some other spices, there's a hint of coriander, and then kind of a mishmash of sweet fruit flavours layered around a wheat backbone.
The taste follows suit, with a certain twinge of citrus and I can definitely identify blueberries in there somewhere.
It's better at first pour, I got a phonecall halfway through the beer and when I came back it had mellowed into a less enjoyable flavour/consistency, more of that fruity pebbles test that I've seen mentioned.
Overall, if you try it fresh, it's pretty good. unexpected in some ways, but certainly drinkable. Don't let it sit too long or it starts to lose some of its appeal (though I feel like that's not necessarily unique to this beer). Check it out, especially if it's cheap. It might surprise you

Pours a murky brownish yellow color, smells of wheat citric coriander and blueberry. It really does taste like fruity pebbles, with a wheat kick at the end.
This is one of those beers that serves a purpose, it's a great fruity beer for summer time. I would never drink it otherwise, but it makes a perfect campfire beer.

Love this beer. I'm a big fan of all of Leinenkugel's seasonals though. When smelling and tasting the sunset wheat, it resembles fruit loops in my opinion. I could easily drink a six pack of this in a short period of time, and I have. Definitely give this a try if you like fruity tasting beers.
