Appearance: Plain yellow, like an American macro. Soda pop type fizz. Lots of internal bubbles. Nothing worth looking at.
Smell: Not much. What there is gives no hint it's a wheat beer. Again, resembles an American macro lager, with some sweetness.
Taste: Well balanced. You can tell it's a wheat beer if you pay close attention, but the honey counteracts that nicely. Also slightly adjuncty, but the other competing flavors keep that from becoming too obvious. Not complex really, but it all comes together nicely.
Mouthfeel: A little bit more substantial than I'd expect from the color. It holds its flavor for a while.
Overall: This beer doesn't promise much, but it overdelivers. Not an everyday thing, I don't think, but certainly one of the better options out of the Leinie's variety pack.
