A refreshing light-bodied ale that goes down easy

A- Very clear amber-yellow with thin, big-bubbled head

S- Smells a bit like honey along with a bottle/metal hint. Not much smell

T- Tastes great on the tongue with many sweet hints carried by light carbonation. After-taste is sorta bottle/metal.

M&D- Feels real good with a light-body and slight carbonation that downs easy

Appearance: Bright yellow, almost orange. Ok head rentention that dissipates quickly. A bit flat-looking, but by no means a bad beer.

Smell: Very faint hints of honey. Honestly, for an adjunct, Honey Weiss smells extremely pleasant. Very summery and refreshing. The honey almost transforms into a malt that evades throughout.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Honey with a creamy maltiness. Almost no hops, but some lemon bitterness maybe. Despite the appearance, Honey Weiss is quite thick in a good way. Creamy, honey, good.

Drinkability: Probably the best American Adjunct Lager. Easy to drink with no nasty taste.

Overall: Underutilized and underappreciated.

a- appearance is a light golden with little white head that quickly dies down, with nice carbonation

s-The smell has a good mixture of wheat aromas with a hint of honey

t-the honey flavor in this beer is not very strong or over powering more or less just hints of honey flavor, it does not over power the malt flavors in the beer

m-light feel to this beer and pretty smooth finish

d-lighter body and good flavor combination that are not to overpowering make this beer good to drink on thous warm spring/summer days

Purchased as a variety pack at Beer Zoo in Harrisburg, PA.

A-Clear yet a little hazy

S-honey and wheat

T-was very tasty in that it had that hint of honey that made the pale ale tolerable (for me anyways)

D- I would def recommend a six pack to sit back and enjoy for the games.

Overall i liked the beer even though i am not a Pale Ale lover.

m-very enjoyable smooth,

d-one of my favorite light beers, like i stated above the honey is very light and can easily drink a few of these beers

When I picked this one out I expected what I got. Pours a bright, clear gold, with an unusually white head. Smells of honey off the comb and a little wheat esters. Tastes a bit thin but up front honey and a little wheat undertones. Pretty easy drinking and an alright after dinner drink.

a: a golden color with a generous inch or higher white head that has good retention time. Leaves a fair amount of lacing very nice
s: kind of a sweet aroma with deffinate hop presence,
t: very nice sweet and bitter combination dry finish
m: medium bodied beer that is smooth and not overly carbonated

overall this is a very good beer that i can see as a session beer

Clear yellow gold. Short head of bright white foam drops readily. Limited lacing at best. Sweetish malt in the nose with a flicker of yeasty sulpur and some delicate honey. Medium-light bodied. Delicately crisp, smooth. Flavor offers a drizzle of honey flavor, some mild wheat character, and a sublime but balancing bitterness. Well-rounded but on the sweet side. Finishes clean and semi-dry with a touch of residual honey-like sweetness. Never cloying. Accessible. Enjoyable and refreshing!

Poured into a standard pint glass.

Appearance: Subtle golden honey in color. Subtle amber.

Smell: Can definitely smell the sweetness from the Wisconsin honey but the lack of an good aroma hop made it too sweet-smelling. Maybe a sterling or saaz hop to add some balance?

Taste: Definitely sweet from the honey but way too much. The cluster hops in this wasn't really enough to overcome the sweet honey flavor.

Mouthfeel: Like I mentioned in the 'Taste' section above the sweetness really carries through in this and is overwhelming. It wasn't horrible if you like a sweeter brew but I can only give it a good.

Drinkability: Maybe something good to have for dessert?

Can recommend this for the most part, enjoyed it a little more than the Classic Amber Leinenkugel.

Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss- drank 9/19, bottle>tulip
4.9% ABV, 149 cals ps
A 3.5
Good head, gone quick, semi ok lacing. Bright yellow with a golden honey color, noticeable carbonation
S 3.0
semi neutral, hints of skunkiness, wheat with honey hints are present but subtle
T 3.5
Semi wheat taste, honey on back stage, not hoppy at all, mild body, semi thin in taste
MF 4.0 lightly syrupy in initial palate, buttery honey texture on finish
D 4.5
I drink this stuff if it is the right price, but it would not be my first pick in Honey Wheat beer. It does have less overwhelming honey notes, which I do like that part. It is highly drinkable when it's on sale fro $4 a sixer in the fall. It is a solid session beer for the right price.

You wouldn't know this was a wheat beer if the bottle didn't say. I mean, its appearance isn't your typical cloud or haze. Rather this beer is pretty clear, straw in color with a small, non-laceing white head. The aroma is not overly sweet, but about average. The taste is crisp, just a touch of honey blends this brew to a nice balance between the slight hop and the wheat malt. The mouth is left alittle dry, wanting more. Im not big on over-sweet brews, thisone just hit the spot. I'll buy thisone again.

Appearance - Golden yellow body with a nice quarter inch of pure white head.

Smell - Malt and honey aroma that is very tempting.

Taste - It starts out with a crisp malt flavor and moves on to finish with a subtle sweet honey taste. The flavor is smooth and well rounded for a mild brew.

Mouthfeel - The texture of this brew is slightly coarse even with a wet feel is has.

~ I enjoy this beer and am proud to say it's brewed only an hour and a half away from my home. If you haven't had a Honey Weiss, you need to try one and see what the buzz is about.

The beer pours a nice clear golden color with nice carbonation and weak head. The mouthful is nice and crisp. The wheat taste is crisp without the grainy yeast texture. The honey sweatens the deal a little without being overbearing. The hops are nicely matched and even out the finish. Good beer for summer or those wanting to try craft beers for the first time.
