Pours out a clear golden straw with a small foamy white head that drops to a very thin layer on top. It has a nice color, but i wanted at least a little amount of yeastyness and more head

Smell. Sweet smell, I'm guessing from the honey, but it also has a lager characteristic to it that reminds me of a sweet lager.

Taste. Again, sweet. The wheat flavors come through with a crispness, while the honey flavor seems to give a little bit of body in the taste.

Mouthfeel. One of the more fuller american wheat beers ive had. Carbonation is quite high and peppery in my mouth.

Overall, a quaffable beer, but not one i would want much of.

appearance- Clear straw color with a bubbly white head.

smell - Honey, lemons, wheat.

taste - Crisp, some wheat present here. Not much going on.

mouthfeel - Light body.

drinkability - I though I was tasting a macro lager here. Goes down like water, not fond of this one.

A-Clear golden with thin head that quickly dissipates

S-A faint hint of barley/wheat like aroma with a touch of ethanol

T-upfront barley with a hint of sweetness, end note of clean hops that quickly cleans up begging you for another drink

M-Smooth, thin and easy to drink

D-Easy drinking, made for any occassion, a nice local beer.

I've drank a lot of this one in my day. My favorite from Leines. They seem to have become more interested in making a buck vs. complex beers with a lot of their recent offerings. Honey weiss is one they have had in their rotation for many years so making it efficiently was probably less of a concern before being bought by Miller. Perhaps this is why this beer has more complexity, albeit not much, vs. their new offerings.

Appearance: Clear medium gold with a medium-sized, fizzy, white, quickly and fully diminishing head that barely left any lacing at all.

Smell: Very mild. Light fruit and malts and that’s about it.

Taste: Sweet, with a light wheat flavor, lemon and a hint of honey. The finish is short and lightly bitter.

Mouthfeel: Thin body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

Drinkability: No this is not a great beer. Not really all that good either… but that bad. Just boring. But this price is nice, so you could spend more and end up with something worse I guess, but it’s still a beer I wouldn’t recommend bothering with. Not a good representation of the style either.

Pours a golden pilsner body that has minimal bubble or sediment... head is generous and two-fingered in its cumulous cloud effect... honey hints with lemon zest that are overpowered by lager malts--not as bright or sweetas expected... rather watery initially, with a hint of depth at the throat...light-bodied, almost a pale pilsner in comparison... iced tea sweetness evaporates the initial honey approach--lacks the strength to significantly rate higher in the taste category...won't be remembered for much more than another Leinie fruit beer that refreshes--but this close to Mike's Hard Lemonade makes me wonder if I should juts have one of those...

My girlfriend was drinking free all night at the Nitty Gritty here in Madison for her birthday, so I mooched off of her for a while. This is on tap at just about every bar in Wisconsin, pretty standard stuff in these parts.

Pale golden and bubbly in appearance, looks like your standard macro. Smells adjuncty and malty sweet, that's about it. Tastes adjuncty and malty/honey sweet with a bit of a metallic aftertaste. Mouthfeel is macro bubbly and thin. It take it over a BMC any day, but there isn't much to praise here. A sweet malty drinker, gets the job done.

Enjoyed in a weizen glass

A: Pours a crystal clear very very light hay color with a ton of carbonation bubbles and a ton of large bubbled soapy looking pure white head which dissipates at a moderate rate before leaving a decent amount of scattered lacing
S: so, sadly, this beer reminds me right off the bat of an adjunct american lager, light, cereal grains and not much more, there is a slight sweetness of honey which is detectable at the very end
T: begins with a nice deep sweetness which reminds me alot of honey, big surprise, also there are notable light cereal grains, not much complexity or depth
M: smooth and clean, slightly cloying at the end, does leave the mouth feeling slightly bright even cold like a mint freshness without the flavor
O: im not overly familiar with this style but i do find this example to be very bland and unfortunately reminiscent of adjunct lagers, honey was nice but not much else was worth mentioning

Appearance- Pretty clear but a touch of wheat haze. Definitely filtered.

Smell - some light honey and wheat.

Taste- I really enjoy this as one of the readily available affordable beers as it has a lightly hopped honey flavor without the sometimes tangy or tart wheat flavor.

Drinkability- This is a great session brew as it is low in alcohol, light and tasty, and it also is a great crossover brew leading some BMC drinkers to the craft brew world.
