On draft at Cheeseburger in Paradise, served in a 22-ounce mug that was WAY too cold.

Amber light brown color, looks like tea. On draft...no head at all.

Little smell because the glass was so damned cold but as it warmed the caramel malts started to come through. Nothing else was noticeable.

Caramel and toffee with a dirty stale hop taste. Tastes like a penny.

Mouthfeel was slightly smooth early on, then the terrible hops and chemical penny feel took over.

Not something I'd get again but it didn't kill me and probably tastes better with food.

I had this at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Langhorne PA. Poured a slightly darker than copper color with a weaker white heading. Lacing does stick around for a bit.

Smell is mainly grainy with a splash of spicier hops on the backened. A yeasty aroma kicks in as well in the end. Very similiar to a Yuengling Lager aroma.

Taste is again mostly malty with a grainy-corn husk taste in the mouth.Slightly spicey on the backend.

Mouth is medium bodied decent carbonation and a linger from the ale yeasts used.

I see this as being very similiar to a Yuengling Lager with slight spicey notes on the backend. Not a bad beer but not great either.

interesting thing about this beer:

this beer is bar/restaurant exclusive and in the order books it's known as 'special ale'. the good marketing point here is that you can name it whatever you want (i.e. paradise beach) and the distributing company will make you a label and stick it on a blank oar-shaped tap head for you. very clever.

A- clear rusty colored with a nice creamy beige head.

S- slightly metallic and toasty with mild citrus hop aroma.

T- a bit acidic, lemon, citrus, fruit, apple, pear, apricot, bery, mildly bitter, earthy, mint, toast.

MF- standard feel, normal carbonation, medium body.

D- the best overall leinenkugel beer i've had to date, very smooth and easy drinkin.

A: Pours a clear amber with a small foamy head that hangs around. Medium-low carbonation.

N: Caramel, coconut and citrus.

T: Follows the nose to a T. Starts out with a wave of sweet caramel, followed by some coconut and perhaps some mango and finishes with citrus to balance it all out.

M: Medium-light bodied, creamy and smooth.

O: I didn't expect much from this beer and while very simple it is very tasty. Excellent drinkability and very balanced.

This beer is brewed especially for the Cheeseburger in Paradise restuarnat chain. (Had at Terre Haute, Indiana location.)

Poured a nice hazy amber color, with some very good head and nice lacing. Very nice scent, a nice malty red ale aroma with some nice spiciness that is reminiscent of a European wheat beer, including a little pepper, some citrus (orange), and a bit of banana. Nice taste, very balanced but leaning towards malty, a fairly deep flavor, with a nice spice aftertaste. It goes down fine, if not great. A really nice small batch brew from Leinenkugels, a nice mix of an amber ale with some wheat (Caribbean style) spiciness.

I tried this beer at Cheeseburger in Paradise, as it was being pushed pretty hard in both the menu and the bar menu.

When the beer came out I was a little surprised because I was expecting something a little redder in color, the beer looked more like a sam adams light but couldn't be compared with one in any other aspect.

The taste was ok, along with the look and feel. Nothing too impressive, but with a burger it paired fairly well and it was easy to drink and pretty light, so not too filling.

I got a 20 oz for $5.25

Had on tap at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Exton, PA

A - poured a deep copper rust color with 1/2 inch of foam that stuck around for a while.

S - decent malt aroma with some spices, nothing too overwhelming

T - nice malt taste with just enough hop to it to give it a little kick

M/D - decent carbonation and taste, but nothing I would go out of my way for

A-nice reddish amber with complete lack of head

S-caramel malts. A bit of buttercream. Very faint smell.

T-comes with actually a terrible taste of sour buttercream and sour caramel. I like sour beers but this sour taste is unwelcomed. It reminds me more of moldy sour cream than anything else. Maybe it just has some lemon or lime in it? To add to the beach theme? I sure hope so, otherwise this beer is rotten. Has a biscuity after-taste.

M-medium creamy carbonation with a dry finish

O-I don't know what their angle was here? I feel the average macro drinker that decides to be adventurous and try this will be turned away from "fancy" beer forever. Its a disgrace to what craft beer is supposed to be. But then I remember this is from Leinenkugel, and it all makes sense. It's a mellow red ale that bites the tongue with a uncomfortable tartness, like when you're drinking a milk that might be past it's prime but not lumpy yet.

Draught @ Cheesburger in Paradise in KC: This one poured a hazy orangish amber color. It had a bit of a white head on it that left minimal lacing. The aroma is lighter but good. Some malts, spices, maybe some orange. The taste is OK, but nothing to write home about. While it wasn't sweet at all, it needs some more hops to really get it into the Pale Ale category. However, it was quite refreshing and worked well as to where it was sold.

On tap at cheeseburger in paradise. Very coppery amber with some nice foamy white had that dissipates fairly quickly leaving some pretty substantial lacing behind.

The scent is very light and malty with a certain fruity scent. Maybe berries. Low hop presence, a light dry pine.

Flavor has a much more substantial malt profile a light caramel with some mild toasty notes. Someone mentioned coconut and i think I am detecting that as well. A teensy nit of pineapple-y hop flavor with a dry finish.

Mouthfeel is clean and light bodied. Dry finish, creamy carbination.

Very drinkable, not too filling and light flavor.

Overall quite a nice beer, flavorful and easy to drink.

Sampled tonight on 2/23/14. On draft at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Omaha, served in a 22-ounce mug.

Poured a amber in color with no head at all. Very light spotty lacing was seen.
The aroma is of caramel and malts. The taste is the same with a tasty amount of caramel. Very smooth and goes down easy. No bitter or harsh aftertaste. Always like this one.

Appearance: Clear, copper body with a very thin, though enduring white head.

Smell: Mild nose of pale malts, mildly bready, with a top note of Brach's caramels.

Taste: Lightly bready pale maltiness with some caramel sweetness present. Very, very low fruitiness. Near nil hop character and only lightly bitter. Mainly the sweetness is balanced out by a last minute burst of fizz on the clean finish.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Just a skosh above medium carbonation.

Overall: This one made me think of AB's American Ale, it's nothing too exciting but serves as a sufficient, tidy beer.
