Pours a clear crimson, decent initial head, minimal lacing.
Smell is predominately grainy, but has a bit of maple syrup and bread.
Taste isn't bad. A bit of malt and sweetness make this pretty drinkable, if not very complex. A vague maple syrup note in there. Hampered a bit by a grainy finish.
Mouthfeel clean, a bit weak.
This is among Leinenkugel's better beers. I'd have it again. It didn't especially impress, but was a decent simple beer, easy to drink, with pleasant flavors.
Once again, Jacob et al., if you're reading, PLEASE devote more resources to your Big Eddy line, which is phenomenal.
