Poured into a wine glass.
Appearance: Clear, very dark amber brown body. Caramel head darker at the rim than in the center of the glass.
Smell - Deep maltiness. Brown sugar more than overripe dark fruit.
Taste - Let down. Some hoppiness, mostly like unsweetened coffee. No real detectable alcohol.
Mouthfeel - Underwelming. Watery.
Overall Drinkability - Alright for a major brewery, but would be considered crap for the craft beer world.
