Nice clear dark amber body with a half-finger of head that never goes away. thin but covering veil of lacing as well. By far the best aspect of this beer.
Aroma is very sweet and bready. That's about it, though. Bocks should definitely be richer and more complex than this.
Harsh mettalic taste prevails, it's a bit weak on flavor, like a watered-down bock. The underlying slight alcohol isn't there at all. It's a shadow of what it should be.
Very thin mouthfeel, highly carbonated, very (too much so) drying.
This is a bock in name only; a 'bock' for the masses. However, it's pretty cheap and has some flavor, so at least they didn't charge a premium price for this.
