I find Leinenkugel to be a middle of the road brewery. The Sunset Wheat, and the Nut Brown are ok, but leave a little to be desired. The 1888 Bock is just a little bit better than the rest.
A - Nice and dark, not watered down looking like some Leinnies. Minimal head, but it last throughout.
S - Nice malt sweetness in the aroma. Clean.
T - A nice tasty brew. Again with the malt sweetness, and a little (very little) bitterness on the tail end.
M - Not heavy, light. A little watery, and flavor disapates quickly.
D - Refreshing, and the lack of bitterness makes it very easy to drink. If that's what you're into.
Not too bad at all. It takes the top spot as my new favorite Leinenkugel.
