12 oz bottle into a pint
A - Pours amber to almost black. Not quite totally opaque. Light head formation, aka almost none. What little is there is light white. No hazing that I can see. Little bubbling.
S - Almost a scentless beer. Very little here - with one small exception, which I would describe as a yeast combined with a small amount of roast smell.
T - Starts off with a moderate sweetness. Mid-stream is rather boring, with very little discernible flavors through the carbonation bite. Finishes with an astringent flavor that quickly finds some of the background sweetness.
M - Moderate body - not thin or thick. A little bit creamy without the balance of the carbonation. Little aftertaste texture.
D - Very drinkable - both that it really has a nice sweetness to it and that its other characteristics (abv and carbonation) are very within tolerance.
I'm not sure where I land on bocks - perhaps its the style, perhaps not. I find this beer to be worth trying, but overall seeminly just average.

Another of the many Leinenkugel's beers tasted from 2008-2010. Well, it ain’t bad, but it ain’t exactly memorable either. Bit spicy. Aftertaste could be better. 2010/02/08
