This beer is growing on me. I really can't stand Leiny's but I bought a sixer of this because I was craving a cheap bock and I didn't feel like buying the Dundee 12-pack for two bocks. By the third one of these I'm really starting to get some good bock character out of it. Pours a very dark amber with a thick, tan bubbly head. Minimal lacing. Subtle malt smell. Slight caramelly malt taste without being obtrusive. Nice largish body for a beer of this wee caliber. Bocks are pretty much my favorite lager style beer and this holds up pretty well. We really need more bock selection from some other micro-brews!
