Appearance - pours a soft but snappy orangeish-amber. A pleasant creamy head holds a solid albeit thin cap.
Aroma - not much of an aroma, but I pick up both malt and citric hoppiness. If I could detect it without having to kind of force it by sniffing instead of just breathing, it'd be better.
Taste - some light malts barely get started before a pleasant piney hoppiness takes control. Not domineering, just prevalent. Not enough malts to balance, so it seems hopped up, relatively speaking. Pleasant taste, though most Montgomery Inn patrons would likely classify it as too bitter. For the style, I think it hits its mark.
Mouthfeel - a nice smoothness coats the mouth, good carbonation helps mix the flavors up, complements the Montgomery Inn barbecue well.
Drinkability - a fine session beer, good by itself, with ribs, and afterwards.

This beer is available at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse in Cincinnati and brewed by Leinenkugel's. It is a great draft to go along with Montgomery Inn's excellent ribs. One of life's pleasures is sitting on their patio over the river in the summer with a cold draft and a rack of ribs.
