Pours gold with decent head.
Slight citrus hop note, backed by macro-type grain note.
Getting sort of a watered-down APA vibe, lacking any of the typical Helles notes, but a decent finish of American (not German) hops.
Mouthfeel fairly carbonated.
I think everyone who's tasted this would dispute that it's a Helles, but it's among the most decent of Leine's non-Big-Eddy offerings, so I feel compelled to rate it above their usual swill. I would pick it over about 10 of Leinie's other offering, but it's ridiculous to call it a Helles.
