This Czechmate pilsner is modeled after famous Czech beers. It has a straw-gold color. The malt flavor is soft and biscuit-like. The mouthwatering Czech hops linger on the tongue. The pilsner cold ages for eight weeks, making it finish clean and crisp.

Poured this Czech Pilsener from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Poured a clear golden color, produced an average white head, average lacing and an average retention. Aroma consisted of malted grain, some floral hops. Light in body, a foundation of malted grain, sweet apple and herbal hops. Decent summer beer.

A strong gold color in the body with an initially thick, foamy white head; lively carbonation. Grainy aroma with hints of grass and some floral notes. Soft, mild malt and cereal flavors with a bold, almost biting, hop bitterness. Medium bodied; crisp and dry.

A very tasty pilsner. It's mildy sweet and has a big hop bitterness that lingers well into the finish.

A clear straw yellow with a 1 finger head of foam, nicely lacing.

A sharp bitter hoppy nose with a mild malty sweet presence.

Full flavoured with a sharp Noble hop bitterness intertwined with a sweetish and earthy malt taste. This is very good indeed, very much like a Czech Pils.

a really really light and easy version of a czech pils. its barley yellow, very pale in color and carbonated like soda. small white head doesnt last real long, but the aroma of dusty grain does. its classically czech, better than so many copies of this style. the hops are fresh too, really quenching and bright, light too, some notes of tea as well, probably some saaz in here if i know them like i think i do. the flavor is a great combination of the smells. the grain is typical light pilsener malt, but the hops really come to dance. hardly bitter but floral and full of flavor. i love how clean it finishes and how refreshing it is without being watery or boring. my critique is its just a bit too light, even for the style. it needs a little more body and pep, although its refreshment factor is great. even more of the same hops would make this special, but as it stands its a great light drinking beer. also one of the great labels in beer great art here, simple, elegant, witty.
