very light pale yellow, with a big pillowy head that takes a few minutes to calm down. active carbonation makes this a little better-looking than your average boring J lager.
relatively big malty nose. nice and simple, not too sweet. pleasant. nice medium-light body, surprisingly bitter finish. not exactly what i expect from a pils, but pretty good for asahi! decent and drinkable, i'll take this over super dry.

"A balance of firm depth and fragrance and fragrant aroma. A deep flavored beer"
The final beer that I tasted in the four Asahi numbered yeast line up. As these are completely filtered lagers, the effect of the yeast is not, I imagine, as pronounced as you would thing a yeast theme beer should be.
Looks like any other insipied lager. Pure yellow body, smallish white head with medium lacing. Carbonation visible.
Malty aroma with some spicy hoppyness. The initial flavor is awesome, a really nice zippy light fresh maltyness, however it finishes with a bit of huskyness.
Light but nice and refreshing mouthfeel. Medium carbonation for the style. A certain softness about it.
I gotta say, I was very pleasantly surprised by this beer. I wish they sold it singly and not by the mixed four pack.
