Appearance: Deep gold colored brew that is topped off by a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly.
Smell: Minor hop presence.
Taste: Very limited flavor. Another Happoshu that resembles club soda more than beer to me.
Mouthfeel: Light body. The brew has a slight waxy quality.
Drinkablity: Alright, but nothing too special. I would not go too far for this one.

this is the 3rd of the asahi colored-can-happoshus that i've tried. the blue was horrible but the red was pretty good, so i don't know what to expect from this, but i'm guessing the gold is average.
no surprises in the pour, comes out the same color as the can. an average looking beer. not very strong, but a surprisingly nice nose for the style. taste is tolerable, i could see myself washing down some yakitori with this. wow. this is another decent happoshu from ashai.
mouthfeel and drinkability are average but this is really bitter for the style, so i like it.

Less than 25% malt.
Other ingredients: hops, wheat, wheat extract, rice, corn
Made with the Asahi 787 yeast
A - Super thin white head on a transparent gold body
S - Refresh sweet and saaz-y aroma
T - Light sweet aroma, with a bit of saaz flavor.
M - Low carbonation for a happoshu, but still active.
D - This is one of the better happoshu's I have had. Please note that the high ratings this beer received was because I was rating it within style. Against a Jever, or even a Pilsner Urquell, it would likely get straight 2.
