Appearance: Pours from the bottle a clear, light yellow body with a tall, airy, white head.
Smell: Simple though agreeable aroma of lightly malted barley, rice, and a light hint of Noble hops.
Taste: Lightly sweet, mild tastes of malted barley and rice. Faint bitterness and hint of spiciness imparted by the hops. Finishes dry, crisp, and cleansingly refreshing.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: It's okay, really. While mild, it is clean and crisp with no discernible off-flavors - as a lager should be. I'd say it would be a good go-to beverage for pairing with sushi, but, that's what the sake is for!
