The Nut Brown Ale is a transparent medium brown color with a light tan head. In all 6 beers in the pack, I couldn't get the head to last more than a minute or so.
The main aroma I notice is bittersweet chocolate. This is accompanied by a general roasted flavor from the malt. There aren't any hops detectable to my nose.
The taste is similar to the aroma, but the roasted flavor is more prominent than a chocolate flavor. While the hops still aren't that detectable, they balance out the sweetness pretty evenly.
The mouthfeel is around a medium-body, maybe a little lighter. I would have enjoyed a thicker mouthfeel for this beer.
Overall, this is a good brown ale that I would drink again. While the beer isn't outstanding in any aspect, it isn't really bad in any area.
