If sour cream and zero fat Greek yogurt had a child. Gross beer! Yuck!

Sampling of Aged Petrus Beers coutersy of JPK. Go Hawks.
Bottle to sample glass.
Reddish brown color, medium beige head, good retention.
Flavors are a solid mix of the component beers. I would like it better with a touch of the oud bruin and less of the aged pale. Maybe 20% AP, 40% OB, 40% AR would be my mix.
Documentation is a good history lesson and some good beer education on sours/wilds/belgians.

This was a pretty delicious sour. It had notes of cherry, cranberry, and funk.

On tap at Farmhouse Tap and Grill in Burlington, VT. This was poured into a flared tulip. The appearance was a dark amber to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds. Foamy lacing follows. The smell had a spectacular balance between vanilla sweetness to tart green apple. Sweet and sour cherries make a fine presence as well as a light oakiness. The taste leaned towards the sweeter side of the style with "sour" presence even lighter here than in the smell. Vanilla sweetness hits nicely here. Silky sweet gentle sour apple aftertaste. Smooth sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light. Overall, damn nice "European" smooth sweet sour ale, exceptionally well balanced. Would love to have again.

3/6....pours reddish brown, lighter tint than the aged red. Foamy top, mostly white. Citrus fruit nose and slight woodiness. Slightly sour, woods and oaks. Buried fruit. Oaky bitter, slight tang. Clever blend.

A good beer overall with a nice, solid sourness, and wood flavor, but the cherry is a little too sweet and too strong for me. It really reminds me of a cough syrup a little too much. For what it's worth, I am not a fan of cherry though.

A blend of Petrus Aged Pale and Aged Red. Poured from the 11.2 ounce bottle into a clear glass chalice for a short but creamy head while it lasts. A ruby brown color of moderate depth.
Obvious tartness in the aroma and very much like the aged red. The combination of the two seems to bring out the chocolate flavor a little more and mellows out the cidery flavor, so that it really begins to taste like a chocolate-cherry dessert. Light in body.
The brochure in the variety pack states that this is their favorite blend, and I can see why. You end up with something unique and more than the sum of its parts. Excellent-plus all around.
