A: rich clear gold. big fluffy white head that sticks around for a while. large carbonation bubbles streak to the surface. a beautiful looking beer, but not your typical shade for an oud bruin.
S: sour alcohol. makes my nose want to pucker. definitely has an oak-y aspect in the finish.
T: sweet and sour jolly rancher. this aspect loses some of its intensity with each following sip. crisp, dry, little bit of hop bitterness in the finish that reminds me that it is a pale. at times almost feels like im drinking wine.
M: soft carbonation with that signature tang of a oud bruin. spot on.
D: tart with a little bit of funk. one sip reminds you its a pale and the next reminds you that it was aged in oak.
definitely the appearance of a pale, but the aroma and flavors of a flanders oud bruin. overall, really fun beer.
