Draught @ the Biergarden, Asheville NC
Appearance: What can I say? Yellow. Brightly so, like a Hoegaarden on steroids. Like perhaps the beer includes carotenoids.
Aroma: At first blush, coriander, with a sweet grain-maltiness. At second blush, more of the same, with a nice shallow depth.
Taste: OK. Classic wit, nothing spectacular, but nothing off either.
Palate/Mouthfeel: A bit on the sticky side but amply refreshing.
Overall: Not my favorite witbier, but it will definitely suit the bill if you're looking for a wit to drink and it happens to be what they have. All in all, somewhat plain. Interesting that the "kerke" in question on their label/tap handle is a plain white clapboard frame thing, because that's the overall effect of the beverage: plain, unassuming, mainline-protestant-style witbier. No stone towers or fancy stained glass with this one.
Serving type: on-tap

11.2 oz can was poured into a tulip glass.
Appearance: This beer poured a two finger head that reduced to a thin layer. It is a hazy golden yellow with some vision of bubbles coming up through the glass.
Smell: Light aromas of bready wheat, vanilla, yeasty, and green apple.
Taste: Same as above. Nothing spectacular and pretty simple.
Mouthfeel: Tart wheat, chewy, light bodied, refreshing, and medium carbonation.
Overall: A nice witbier. Not fantastic, but nice. Out of a can too.
Serving type: can
