Poured from a 11.2 oz bottle into a pint glass. Reviewed live.

A- One finger of quickly eroding white head with large bubbles. Pale yellow color with fairly high clarity. Watery white lacing.

S- Floral hops and some citrus. Lemon is a big smell here. Unfortunately it smells like dishwashing liquid.

T- Grassy, slight taste of alcohol, muted citrusy hops. Light Pilsner.

M- Light, watery, carbonation is slight.

O- Just not a great style of beer in my opinion.

Poured into a pilsner a light spritzy yellow with a large blooming white head that settled very very slowly leaving globs of lace behind.Light residual sweetness a bit of metallic and firm toasted malt in the nose nothing earth shattering or out of the ordinary but it could be worse.Thin near watery mouthfeel the beer glides down almost like water wich isnt the worse thing in the world but obviously I think most would want more body, slightly sweet and toasty with a bit of a herb smack in the finish,eh its not horrible its better than some other European giants but still it lacks alot.

Appearance – Hazy, very light yellow in color with a nice, white head that left some lacing and nice pools on top of the liquid.

Smell – There’s almost no smell to this lager except for a hint of lemon and maybe grass.

Taste – There’s almost no taste to this lager, either. The grassy, slightly sweet-n-sour attempt at a German Pils is insulting.

Mouthfeel – I enjoyed the light and carbonated mouthfeel to this one.

Drinkability – I refrained from dumping this with a shaking hand. It’s right on the edge.

Bavik pils/lager. 5.2% alcohol.

A- Pours a straw yellow color, very pale. Looking through the glass i see numerous floating sediments. Small head that leaves decent lacing.

S- Light corn, yeast, and mild hop scents are there.

T- Very smooth flavor of malts, grains, and a hoppy almost yeasty bitterness bite a the end.

M-D- Mouthfeel is nice and easy, nothing offensive. Very wet on the tonuge and finishes smoothly. A very drinkable beer, will have again. Great session beer also.

Presentation: 11.2 oz white, red and copper can. Freshness date on the bottom of the can. 11.2 oz? What’s up with that? If you are going to export a canned beer to the US it should be 12,16, or 24oz cans … don’t gyp us on .8 oz, Geezz!

Appearance: Thin cropped white lace, barely holds together though with each sip it rolls back again to a thick lace. Clarity is fine and is of the ultra cold filtered kind.

Smell: Faint rubbing of herbal hop and a fullness of grain in the aroma. Quite clean at that.

Taste: Clean palate within a light to moderate body, the hop flavour gets restless and throws around some leafy and herbal flavours as it drops a clean bite of bitterness. Maltiness is light and actually thin in a way with only a graininess that recedes to a husky flavour towards the end. A ghost like buttery flavour, faint metallic / earthiness and some very light warming alcohol wrap up the finish.

Notes: A decent Euro lager at best, Stella Artois is a half notch better but I’d rather have a Bavik for the sake of smaller breweries. Though at $5.99 a six pack of 11.2 oz cans it is a bit pricey for what you get.

From an 11.2oz bottle with no freshness date, it pour a pale straw color. The three-finger head is large and creamy, forming a stiff foam dome extending beyond the rim of my pils glass. It shows great retention and strands of lace cling in web-like patterns.

The smell is of grain and hops, with a bit of lemon peel and strong herbal notes. The flavor profile follows the smell, and the hops aren't overbearing.

The mouth is light and clean, and after a burst of bitter hops, actually gets creamy on the end. This is a very drinkable brew, even if it doesn't really posess a wealth of personality.

Slightly hazy pale yellow, strange for a Lager or more specifically, a Pilsner. Head is very light and rises to over 1/2 an inch, very fluffy in texture. Decent overall lacing on the glass. Weird yeasty aroma, musty with some nutmeg and grass components. Starts light and perfumey on the tongue, sweet and even a little estery. No real hop sense. Body thins markedly later, as does the taste, but strangely, there's little carbonation and a weird slick sensation that's almost like flat Ginger Ale. A very odd beer for style, almost resembles Wittekerke in some aspects,

Served in a Trappe Door tulip glass.

Crystal clear golden with a small white head. Only a little carbonation is visible.

M light-medium body. Crisp. Barely adequate carbonation.

Clean, malty finish. Low carbonation for style

O: a typical Czech pils ... but from Belgium.

ST: 12 oz bottle poured into a Peroni glass.

A: Slightly cloudy gold with very steady fast carbonation and a thin head that sticks around.

S: Slight citrus hops, a bit of metal, bread, very light.

T: Light malt, some citrus hops and bread the finish is crisp though a bit watery.

M: Pretty light with a slight creaminess at mid palate.

D: Light with average alcohol makes this a beer that can be consumed pretty regularly.

Overall: Not a bad beer, but not something to call mom about. It delivers refreshment without wow.

I picked this one up because it was canned and I felt I could get a fresh Pils that way. I wasn't to be disappointed.

Poured a golden straw color with an ample snow-white head of sticky foam that left it's mark as you drank the beer down.

Aroma is softly sweet pale malt, some floral scents, and pale, light hops.

Taste follows nose. The faintest of sweet pale malt and some floral notes. A dry spiciness that reminds me of wheat and then light hop bites at the end.

Mouth is left clean, dry and refreshed.

Nice euro lager.

Picked up at Kahn's in Indy on a whim. The can actually reminded me a little of Brahma, especially once i saw "cerveja" on it. Anyways, an agressive pour leads to a 2 finger white head with large soapy bubbles atop a straw yellow body with some particles in suspension. Nose is sweet and malty much like a typical euro lager. Taste finishes a tad metallic, not generally pleasant. I'll probably pass on this one next time.

A very jazzy, pale gold color, flowing bubbles but a low rising, moderate head keeps things grounded. The head dissipates pretty quick for such a jazzy look.

sour greens, musky earth, very classically yeasty aroma. Green beans, spring water, herbs and sour-sweet malt, mild pepper.

A pretty classic Pils flavor of musky-earthy and sour notes, soft pepper, veggies, crisp malty bite, bready and sour tones from the malt, more peppery earth in the mild hop balance.

The feel is light, sharp and very crispy, especially to start out. Herbal, sour and clean earthy aftertaste.

If you love the style, it's a must try.

Bavik pours piss yellow with some carbonation. The nose is very grainy and smells of wheat and some malt. the taste is simple and grainy. wheatfunk and some weak spice. Mouthfeel is thin and watery as expected and the drinkability would be that of water, but is too funky. Not a terrible beer, but nothing I would drink again when I can just grab an urquell.

A creamy drinkable and tasty lager, with some yeast in it. A find at Eagle Provisions in NYC. Yellow with some cloudiness in it, some white head and drops of lace. Smooth drinking. Offset some spicey food. Smartly malted, a versatile beer.I think this beer is underated
