Poured from 330mL can into a Pilsner glass.
Appearance: pale straw body with a touch of haze. Tons of apparent effervescence support a thick finger of creamy white foam. Not too bad, but a little pale and hazy.
Smell: nice sweet malt aroma with a touch of noble hops. Not too bad, really, although hops are somewhat limited and the overall aroma is pretty light.
Taste: lightly malty with a subtle bitterness. Malt is a bit sweet but the flavor is pretty good; not a whole lot of character, but it is smooth and pretty to-style.
Mouthfeel: body is pretty light but I like the carbonation level a lot (i.e., it is pretty highly carbonated). Creaminess isn't too bad, either.
Drinkability: a nice, smooth, non-challenging but still a bit flavorful, Bavik Pils hits the spot for me.

Pours a clear, bright, straw yellow with a voluminous white head. Scattered lacing results when the head dissipates to a chunky film.
Smell is missing. A lot of inhalation results in little being found, some citrus/floral hops, some faint malt. Is this a BMC product?
Taste is much more prevalent with the aforementioned citrus & floral hops, malt, a wee bit of alcohol but no burn, some saltiness crackers, maybe some apple?
Medium bodied with restrained effervescence. A decent, fading, aftertaste. This isn't a BMC brew, the hops are not overpowering, it has some flavor and some balance. There really isn't anything to recommend this but it's no drain pour either. To quote a friend, "it doesn't suck". But that is the best thing I can say about it.

Pours a pale straw color and a little hazy; kind of unusual for a pilsner. Nice lacework as the very delicate foam falls. This beer has a delicate aroma of grain with a hint a grassiness. A very light, delicate pilsner, with a bit of spritziness to it. (This could be the result of my careful pour.) The flavor is grainy with hint of minerals. The finish is fairly bitter and dry. Almost makes me think of light version of Duvel. What attracts me the most with this beer is its gentle graininess in the flavor and dryness. Nothing too exciting here, just a well made, dry pilsner.
