No date seen on the bottle.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a quick one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds. Lacing, well, its slightly clingy and slim stringing itself along the sides of the glass.
The smell has a strong sweet to dried sour apple. A nice deep champagne-esque/vinous but a good vinous sweetness comes in to amplify goodness.
The taste was there. Its sweet and kinda vinous, not overbearing but carries a nice "real" to pure apple-esque aftertaste leading to a slight vinous finish.
The mouthfeel was about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was super smooth as it rolled extremely nicely over my tongue.
Overall, good dubbel, I'm pretty sure I'd have again. Though a bit different than other dubbels, I get it for the most part.

Initial gush of foam when opening bottle. Pours out reddish brown with very small, oily head. Dried fruits, runes dominate the aroma and taste. Overall sweet nature on this. More fruit and some yeast on the finish.
