Now Just called Ezel Biere Blanche or Ezel Wit Bier or Ezel White Beer. 6.8% alc. Decent and drinkable. Pours hazy into the glass with a moderate head. I found it pleasant and enjoyable.

Now as "Ezel", at 6.8%.
Pours dirty hazy golden, small white head for a while, sticky creamy lace afterwards.
Smells rather nice, with wheat, sweet honey, citrus peel, blond fruit, clove and coriander.
Taste is rather sweet, with cream and wheat up front, honey, lots of banana and quite some apricot, apple and pear. Fruity, yes, but there's a lot of sugar in there too, not entirely pleasant. Coriander, citrus peel, and the traditional herbal feel is a bit covered by the sweet wheaty blanket. Otherwise, nice peppercorn, quite some clove, and a bit of booze, which is surprising for a wit. Mild bitter finish with lots of spiciness left.
Clunky, syrupy body, medium carbonation, not the most refreshing wit.
Tasty, tho the sugars should have been kept in check. Not the best wit, but has some nice new notes (for me, at least) that sets it apart from the mediocre bunch.

Bottle with a BB date of 3/14/13.
A-Cloudy, darker orange than many Belgian wit beers. A couple fingers of white prominent foam.
S-Hard to tell this is a wheat beer. Heavy in alcohol and weak in yeasty esters and spicy character.
T-Very shitty wheat beer. More like a high ABV pils than anything else. I wouldn't classify as a Belgian wit beer. Weak in flavor.
M-High in carbonation weak in body and low in flavor this is a dud.
O-This is a poor example of a Belgian wit. Tastes more like a crappy pils, a bad beer to finish my night with.

Poured into a Duvel tulip glass, little to no head, similar to the brown I had last night. This one had a slightly better aroma, citrus and sugar prevailing.

Taste indicates some banana, which was a little different than the smell. Feel in the mouth is mild, but not weak.

I tried this beer on May 7, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a cloudy golden-orange with a thin white head. The aroma was slightly sweet, wheat malt, and citrus. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied, and medium carbonation. The flavour was slightly sour wheat, with some citrus and spice hints

Brown 25cl bottle of 5.8%ABV, best before 13th July 2010, opened and reviewed 26th March 2010.

Poured into a 'Hougaerdse DAS' tumbler.

Impressive pure white foaming head sat on top of a slightly hazey, dull golden body.

Washing soda smell, not good! There were hints of orange/corriander, but not enough to find unless you knew they should be there.

Tasted like a watered down version of a good Witbier.

Weak from start to finish, a big let down to be honest.

Smokeless Joe's. Whitish head on ligh coloured body, and lots of lace dots left. Neutral aroma. The mouthfeel is thin, the wheat has a bit of bitterness, and this is very drying. Drinkable beer, but minimal on taste,a tad of spice is it, poor for style.

A - poured from a 250ml bottle into a tulip glass. Pours cloudy gold with a thick fine foam that becomes thin. This was marked as 5.8% Alc/vol.

S - wheat malt and subdued citrus details

T - delicious strong wheat flavor that finishes with a tart citrus flavor that becomes sweet

M - medium low carbonation and very smooth, finishes dry

D - highly drinkable. The taste is simple and highlights the wheat flavor which is very nice.

25cl bottle. Ezel label and listed as 5.8%.

Poured a medium and cloudy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of wheat, spices, and some citrus. Tastes of lemons, wheat, citrus, and light yeast. Lightly tart finish.

Nice pale hazy light yellow, some citrus on nose. This is a solid wit with a bigger midbody than Hooegarden ( though less citrus). The finish is almost bitter but altogether this a very drinkable wit with a good body though not super complex. Would buy again as I like wits though they can be hard to find

A misty darkish golden colour, with some strings of carbonation running through. It has a beautiful silky white head. But it vanishes far too quickly. Poured it in the original Ezel glass I bought with the beer.
The odour is very moderate, malt, citrus, sugar, herbs.
Taste brings forth the hops and some banana; combined with a soft malt after tone and some citrus and fresh herbs. Carbonation is a bit to overpowering. All flavers end in a very watery taste with some remaining hops. This also fades to end in a very dry sensation with an overpowering malt taste.

BB 19-04-06. Good presentation with nice head though not overwelming and golden, slightly amber beercolor. Nose is much koreander and citrussy from orange next to some wheat and caramellic malts. Taste is also lots of koreander witch brings sweetness in and some hard bitterness; probably also from yeast. Orange obvious and some nice maltcarracter but also buttery. Could have more carbon dioxide and this unplesant bitterness together with the butter doesn't make mouthfeel to a feast. Drinkable but rather have something else.
