pours a chardonnay color with a 1/8" head that dissipates quickly, extremely light slippery lacing. almost a pure apple juice golden yellow in body with a light amber tint.

very light on the nose, almost a non-existent smell. hops and barley barely present, along with a touch of rice.

tastes how it smells, extremely light and watery to boot. tastes cheap. and lifeless.

standard, backwash, backwater beer. not impressed here after just thoroughly enjoying this brewer's IPA.

don't know much about blondes, maybe it's just not my style. if they're suppose to tastes like pabst or bud light (nothing wrong with those beers), they did a fine job.

look: 3 | smell: 3 | taste: 2 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 2.5

A: twist of top was lifeless, no snap or crack. The body is touch darker than a adjunct or macro lager. The color is a deep wheat straw color with a bone white head in the fizziest order. No head retention or lacing

S: malted barley in the nose, light toastedness. Maybe one or two kernels of corn present. A touch of grassy hops help move things along

T: tastes more like a straightforward macro lager than it smells, this is not saying much though. The body is slightly maltier and slapped with some hoppy bitterness. A few crushed and dry corn flakes have free roam about the tongue. Slight honey sweetness to top things off...not a winner

M: light, airy and fizzy with relatively nice mouthfeel dimensions for the style. Pretty clean overall

D: nothing is getting me roused about this brew. Drinkable and average

Pours a clean/clear golden yellow color, nice carbonation, nice little fizzy white head, very minimal sticky lacing. The nose is corn, rice, maybe some barley. The taste is slightly sweet, corn, rice, maybe some barley. Light body. This brew is barely drinkable, no malts to speak of. Would not buy again.

There is a clear, golden wheat coloring to it. You can see through the beer rather easily, not a hint of cloudiness at al. A quarter inch head formed on the top of the beer that faded to a film at the top. The film stayed in place until the beer was finished. There was no lacing on the side of the glass.

The first thing I noticed when taking a whiff of the beer is a roasted malt and corn scent. A citrus scent was also noticeable. There was also a slight grassy hop scent. The flavor was rather unassuming. Toasted malts and corn basically made up most of the flavor. I really can't detect anything else, it's not very impressive. There is a cornflake like aftertaste.

This is a light bodied beer. It's a little heavier on the carbonation than one would expect with a light bodied beer. It has a good bite on the tongue.

This beer is less than impressive. It's not bad, but it's only a step up from your standard mass produced beers in America. I was less than impressed with it, and wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it, nor purchase one. On the other hand, I wouldn't turn one down if offered to me.

look: 3 | smell: 3 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 2.5

A: Bright, clear gold color. Poured a 1 finger creamy white head with fair retention. Decanted continually. Minimal lacing.

S: Slightly sweet roasted malt and corn. Light citrus zest. Hints of yeasty esters. Very muted floral hops.

T: Slightly sweet caramel malt. Citrus and esters in the middle. A reasted corn flavor and sweet honey linger through a slightly bitter finish.

M: Light body. Ample carbonation. Tastes linger on the tongue; not very clean.

D: Very easy to drink, just not very interesting to drink. The beer doesn't seem very balanced as flavors linger far too long.

look: 3 | smell: 3 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 2.5

Appearance: A golden amber color that had a bubbly and foamy one finger head. There is a lot of carbonation coming from the bottom. There is a very clear clarity in the beer.

Nose: Toasted malt, cooked corn, citrus, yeast. There are hints of esters and honey.

Taste: Light toasted malt with a cooked corn following. There are notes of citrus, yeast, and ester.

Overall. Not a very good beer. I have tasted better beer from Weinhard's brewery. There was a lot of carbonation on the tongue, and a plain finish.

look: 2.5 | smell: 2.5 | taste: 3 | feel: 2.5 | overall: 2.5

Appearance - Almost transparent gold pour with lackluster head.

Smell - Weak herbal hops aroma.

Taste - Faint hops. A little citrus?

Mouthfeel - It was light and smooth. Fairly well balanced hops to carbonation ratio.

Drinkability - Not impressed. This will not meant it into the regular rotation.

A- Golden yellow, decent head. No lacing.

S- Very faint, almost none kinda grassy.

T- Average. Tastes pretty much like budweiser, nothing special but not bad eather. Its watery and thin.

D- Goes down smooth as water, very clean tasting.

Overall its worth a try but its nothing too interesting or special.

I bought a 12-pack of Henry's Blonde at a grocery store on a road trip. Poured in to a pint glass.

Pours a blonde/gold color and is clear. Thin bubbly head disappears rather quickly. No lacing.

Smell is faint and lager like. Perfume and floral aromas.

Taste is a bit grainy, cereal, with a mild bitter, one-dimensional hop flavor.

Mouthfeel is crisp, light and clean.

This is a drinkable beer, but not a remarkable one. It's a real average lager. Better than most macros, but far from great. A nice average brew from the folks at Blitz-Weinhard, but not one of the best in their line

This wan't one of the best beers I have ever tasted. It surely is above Bud or Coors, but as afar as craft beers go, its the bottom of the barrel. If you are looking for a beer to bridge the gap between those American Adjunct Lagers, this is a good first step. It pours a very clear golden yellow color. Not much head to speak of and no lacing. Smells a little of malt and corn. Tastes similar to smell but with a touch of citrus. In the mouth, it is very thin and overly carbonated. Overall, its drinkable, but not something I would ever seek out to buy.

A- Completely transparent orange-ish yellow. Very thin bubbly head formed and fizzed away quickly. Looks quite carbonated.

S- Smells like bread, even some corn. Typical sour lager scent, maybe a hint of orange peel or juice.

T- I have never tasted cascade hops like this in a lager. Some honey, bread, and ginger ale in the middle; lemon-lime soda flavor and feeling as it goes down. An inkling of OJ leads to a bit of sour aftertaste but no adjunct-lager piss.

M- Carbonation almost stings, feels like ice-cold 7-up. Kind of thin, but at least it doesn't leave anything behind but a little fizzy tingle.

D- Could drink it all night, if you like it enough. It's kind of like a less crappy budweiser.

As an ale advocate, I seek lagers that I enjoy, as I am a little more picky with them. This one is not bad: interesting flavor with sweet, sour, and bitter notes, even if it's over-carbonated.

Poured from 12oz bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: nice medium golden color, crystal clear. Fairly sizeable head on this one; it looks nice.

Smell: harsh grain and just the tiniest hint of skunk. Not terrible, but quite mediocre.

Taste: somewhat sweet malt with a big dose of grain. Hops are practically nonexistent except for a little bitterness. Once again, it is not bad; in fact, it's quite inoffensive. There are simply very few redeeming qualities here.

Mouthfeel: relatively light body with minimal carbonation. Not stimulating.

Drinkability: this beer is far from bad, but it's pretty far from good, too. I won't go out of my way to have this one again.

Appearance is a light golden orange with minimal head with no lacing. Smell is light with malt/adjuncts and hops. Taste has more personality than most macro lagers thats crisp, but with a slight salinity bitter aftertaste to it. Mouthfeel seems light with some body. Overall not a bad drinker for a less expensive summer beer to sip on.

This basically is a typical example of a "bargain" beer. Light, crisp, clean, easy to drink. There's not a ton of outstanding flavors or scents, but there's no real off notes either. Basically grainy with just a nice hint of hops, this could be a nice chore beer or one to turn the BMC drinker in your life on to better beers. Not a great beer, but a decent little brew and value.

Same color as motor oil, pours with a big frothy head.
Almost no aroma, very faint.
Very mildly flavored. What flavor it has is good, I just wish there was more of it.
Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, no after taste.
This is drinkable stuff, a good choice to have something low key to go along with a big dinner.
