Pours a clear, golden orange with a thin white head. Aroma was light, but good. Smells of hops, a lot of citruis. Taste has a lot of hops with a minor bitterness. Aftertaste has some hops but very "wheaty." Good texture, good flavor this would make a good session beer.

First off, Ive been a Weinhards fan for years. This is their best brew I have tried yet. It contains a nutty aroma topped off with notes of caramel. The beer is creamy and has a nice tart taste. The beer is a bit too carbonated, but is relatively smooth. A very pleasant surprise.

color is a pale orange actually more of a light rust, which when compared to even "light" ipa's is really pale
the smell is a little better some hops actually present but also present is the odd smell weinhard's beer produces
the taste is not bad hops and malt are both present, but once again it has the taste of a weinhard's beer of which i have drank every type and quite a few of them before i discovered craft brews
this beer is very thin but well carbonated
the drink ability of this beer is awesome for a few reasons the first
and most important is that it is a decent beer for an extremely cheap price $5.00 a six pack about $3.00/4.00 cheaper than (local) redhook, pyramid, or Bridgeport ipa's. The next is that this is a beer for the masses so it is basically drinkable no matter what your
pallet level is

Appearance has a clear mid amber color with a steady head and clingy lace. Smell has a sweet malty nose and mild citrus hops. Taste of grainy sweet malt, mild piney a little grapefruit, a fairly good balance. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Personally I'm not much into Henry's and it's nothing complex, but this is actually a pretty good brew.

Pours a pleasantly golden orange hue not far from tree top apple juice with a fairly vibrant two-finger head that fizzles to a thin bubbly film rather quickly, but redeemingly leaves some nice frothy sheets of lacing.

Smell is simple. A decent caramel malt profile with some ample green pine hops. The hops are typical nw ipa in profile, yet somewhat subdued and unmemorable, although inoffensive.

Bready malt, hints of caramel and honey, followed by a fairly strong hop profile, with some earthy bitterness, some fresh green hops, and a healthy dose of citrusy hops. Kinda funky, but not awful. Pretty one dimensional but also pretty damn drinkable.

Mouth has some crazy carbonation... vibrantly fizzy... not so much as to detract from the overall brew, but almost. Astringent bitterness lingers.

All in all, this isn't one I'd particularly seek out, but it's a solid six-pack IPA that drinks easily and certainly doesn't break the bank. Surprisingly hoppy and bitter. One to drink without abandon. It's a good burrito or pizza beer, and the price point is solid enough I know i'll be buying more.

New one from Henry's Typical orange colour of an IPA with a nice enough looking slightly off-white head. Aroma is certainlly hoppy but really doesnt grab your attention, there is in fact a little unpleasantness underneath, but i had tio strain to catch it..so OK. Flavour is quite OK the hopping isnt too agressive and there is a nice enough complmentary semi-sweet maltiness, in deed the hops coat the tongue near the end, not bad. I liked the palate on this beer, not really watery but easy to drink, nice lingering hoppy after taste. Not bad at all at this price range ( under $10 a 12 pack). I am rather enjoying it. A good lighter IPA for the hotter months ( its is a Spring/Summer release). Overall excellent value for money.

Pours a dark golden, amber color. A good amount of carbonation with a sticky white head that laces down the glass all the way down the drink.
Smell is very nice. Definitely a stereotypical Oregon IPA. Hop dominated with smells of flower and orangey citrus.
Taste has a good balance to it. Subtle hop notes linger on the tongue with tastes of Oregon hops. Flowery and piney hops.
Mouthfeel is nice. A good thickness, but very smooth at the same time.
Drinkability is good because of a nice balance of tastes. Nothing crazy or special going on here. However, if you have a buddy who doesn't like craft beers or thinks IPAs are "skunky" get a 6 pack of this beer for them. A great IPA to convert the masses.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance- The beer pours a beautiful golden amber color with a big billowy two finger off white head. The head fades over a moderate level of time leaving a nice lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The smell is largely of a bready and caramel nature mixed with some aromas of corn sweetness and a light fruit smell. While an IPA there is not a big hop presence with the aroma only having a very light citrus and pine hop smell.

Taste- The taste begins with a chewy breadiness and a lighter caramel sweetness upfront. A hop flavor of a citrus flavor is present from the start which grows stronger till the end. With the citrus growing stronger the caramel fades with some earthy and pine hop flavors later joining the taste. This combination of flavors take the taste to its end where a nicely hopped and smooth bready taste is left on the tongue.

Mouthfeel-The body of the brew is quite thick and chewy for a 6 % abv beer with a carbonation that is rather lighter. The thicker body combined with the lower carbonation make for a nice mouth coating feel and all the hop and bready flavors able to linger on the tongue.

Overall – I was quite surprised by this brew. It was nice and creamy with a rather good hoppy taste. Not a bad go to and certainly worth a try.
