Sampled last night on 3/22/14, Bottled chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a handled glass stein.

Pours a nice pretty deep amber in color with a very thin off-white head. Some spotty lacing was seen when sipped but not a lot. The aroma of caramel malts hits you right up front first with some other grains. The taste is about the same with the caramel malt sweetness and fades into some hops and then has a dry and slightly bitter finish.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass, Redwood Flats Amber is a clear, very light golden amber color with a thin, bubbly white head. The nose is rather non-distinct, a mixture of carmel/bready notes that blend in a generic malty sweetness. The taste is also fairly generic, overly sweet upfront and transitions to an overly bitter, unpleasant finish. Mouthfeel is a light-medium body with a silky carbonation; probably the beer's best feature. Overall, not a beer I would order again, drinkable but not likeable.

Appearance: Fairly dark amber with copper hues and an off white head.

Aroma: Grape, light citrus and some caramel malts, pumpernickel light toffee notes in the tail end.

Taste: Light crisp mouthfeel with a biscuity texture. Carmel malts, piney notes twinges of grpaefruit.

Aroma: Fairly basic Amber ale not any frills to this one but still drinkable. Cheers.

Appearance is the true amber color with orange and red tint. The head is a subtle cream with caramel aroma. Smell is of caramel and malts with a tone of hops bringing up the rear. The taste is not bad for this cheap of an amber. Taste is of caramel malts with the hops kicking in, feels full and crisp in the mouth. A very drinkable amber than won't put a damper in your pocket money.
